    I disagree.

When Mark Wilson first arrived from Dundee United, we had a similar situation - temporary crisis at LB - and he was drafted straight in to cover. He was actually pretty impressive there, to the extent that some folk were suggesting we'd found his best position.

He's now a lot more experienced, and I think if he was told he'd be doing a shift there for the next couple of months, he would slot in well and do a job for us.

brown definately plays his best football, running at players through the middle, great engine when he gets going, paddy mccourt would be a better wide man,

Brown is even worse in the middle than he is wide right.
He gets in the way of the football players and breaks up our play.

At least wide right he's just like being a man down. In the middle he actually makes us worse.

Heh, I don't think you#re far from the truth there.

I'd say in 30-40% of the time, when played on the right Brown has a good or better game. Shutting the opposition down and even creating the odd chance.

Sadly, and this is key, the other 60-70% of the time he is poor with even 10-20% of that he's downright dreadful and today was such an occasion.

It makes you wonder how he gets games when someone like Ledley is on the bench. Commons, I can almost understand as he is on a terrible run of form, but even McCourt or Maloney would make Brown look *.

Issue 3: Stop leaving the backpost area unmarked at corners.

Issue 4: Maj stop getting so tight you fud.

Issue 5: Stop playing long balls.

Majstorovic is horrible. There is no way his selection can even be justified.

Our defensive line has to sit deeper to accommodate his lack of pace, this then means our two central midfielder's sit deeper, this then invites pressure from the opposition midfield.

Having no pace isn't an issue if you can read the game and position yourself, he can't do either.

    Get him to *.

Well Forrest was crap today, as was Wilson. So not much of a solution, we need to mix things up a bit and involve McCourt and Maloney so everyone is fighting for their place.

Mark Wilson is never a left back. His performance against Sion at Celtic park highlighted this.
Maj needs to be kept as far from the team as possible. We need a new centre half and preferably a new left back. Mulgrew might do at left back in the SPL but would rather not take the chance.
I'd be happy with any midfield combination as long as it didn't include Brown and Maloney.

Let's play Wanyama/Rogne besides Kelvin Wilson. Berown is required to stabilize the midfield. 2 wingers spell doom for us.

In terms of center back. I would play Rogne alongside Kelvin Wilson as soon as he is ready which hopefully he should be for the next game against Motherwell given he played the recent development squad game against Blackpool.

When Rogne gets back he and Wilson should partner at the back

I've been hating Madge for ages now, none of this is new - Lenny continually plays him, sometimes as Captain.

I'm afraid the problem lies with the Manager not the player.

Everyone pretty much understands that Brown has been a failure at Celtic, yet Lenny has made him Club Captain, continually plays him - thereby dropping better suited players (as you hint at) & is looking to make him the highest paid player at the Club by giving him a new contract.

Lenny has also done this with Sammy, in giving a proven * player a new contract.

Lenny has said that the blame lies with himself, this is blatently obvious.

We were * today & I think he made 1 substitution with about 10 minutes to go.

I'm not calling for his head, just calling for him to use the * thing!

    Ach yer mooning *.

Broony can barely stabilize his tongue, never mind the fookin midfield.

He is the most destabilizing influence in the entire team.

2 wingers that can play football would spell... one extra footballer on the park for us.

our best back four from what we have currently is

    m. wilson mulgrew k. wilson mathews

if we play that back four we wont have much bother at the back imo.

Which comes with losing pace and ability.. Thought he was absolutley dreadful as LB against St Johnstone nothing could go down that wing at all. Then he played LB Against Sion at home, he kept losing the ball and looked awkward as * there too. I think that matthews is a far better option to look at on the left.
