Him and Bivol will be fight of the year I reckon. Think Bivol might just about be able to keep him at range and outbox him. Both their footwork for light heavy is excellent

You can tell I'm a filthy casual because the weirdness of Ngannou vs AJ makes it something I really look forward to watching.

Like AJ should really be clear favourite by some distance, but it does seem like a high risk fight for AJ to be taking.

Because even if Fury clearly never took the fight serious, it was interesting to see Ngannou effectively brush Fury off when he tried to get anywhere near him and lean on people like he usually did. Ngannou in that aspect showed a physical level to his game that hadn't been seen before against Fury. At least I hadn't seen it in my casual viewing

Fury pulled out of fight due to getting a cut while sparring.

Guess the rumours of him getting handled in sparring had at least some truth to them then.

    * him. Big * idiot. Biggest fight of his career and he’s sparring without headgear.

I would usually have some sympathy for whoever this happened to, but the guys just shameless at times. Avoided this for years and has now * it all up again when it’s a couple of weeks away.

To be honest, Ngannou was getting great training from Mike Tyson and taking it very seriously. Mike was really good at training. I dropped the hour video somewhere here. I think he wins. Should be a good fight.

If anyone watches the video and has seen the picture and thinks he’s ducking the fight I really have no words…

He was elbowed in the eyelid and now has a gaping * where his eyelid should be. They wouldn’t even let him fight with it even if he wanted to.

Very convenient and exactly what people were predicting.

It’s the classic case of the boy that cried wolf with Fury.

His conduct over the last few years and the way he has ducked fights means that no one believes him even if on the off chance this is genuine.

A man coming off a horrible performance where an MMA debutant dropped him, has reportedly been struggling in sparring, has documented mental health issues and a history of pulling out of fights, with half the world of boxing predicting he wouldn’t get in the ring, against a man he has ducked before, is cut in sparring in which he has never been before, whilst wearing headgear and larger gloves?

    Nah.

    Pretty much this.

Guy talks so much bullshit that even with the video they’ve released, you’re still left feeling skeptical.

*although his time off due to mental health issues actually coincided with the time he was banned for taking nandrolone.

The Usyk/Fury fight will happen. Unless you’re a psychic medium you could not see his eyelid hanging off a fortnight before the first scheduled date for the fight.

Tyson Fury, tweeting about David Haye pulling out because of a cut in 2013.

Just can’t be arsed with him at all. Grade-A bullshitter with an absolute paper thin resume, all things considered.
