Seeing Joshua dismantle Wallin and Ngannou, two opponents Fury undeniably struggled badly against, puts doubt in my mind.

However, it has since come to light that Fury was paid by the round against Ngannou. I’m not 100% if that’s true or not but Chael Sonnen stated it as fact on his YouTube channel. If that really was the case then it’s certainly a good explanation for his performance there.

It’s a fascinating matchup. I do tend to lean on your side of the fence. I’ve been a massive fury fan ever since the Klitschko fight and I would’ve thought he was a certainty to win this fight if you asked me a year ago.

One look at his flabby belly for Ngannou shows you he didn’t take him seriously whatsoever, no matter what he says.

Like you say the air of uncertainty now is what Fury shows up. I personally think he’s maybe got a couple fights left in him right at the top, he has a lot of miles on the clock now for a man his size and for how much punishment he’s taken.

John Fury is a *. Really dislike the guy. Strikes me as a total bully.

I typically cheer on the underdog, which I would imagine Usyk is. As much as I championed Fury being able to come back etc in 2017 when he looked like he was too far gone. I like watching Fury box when he's at the top of his game.

I have heard from former boxers just how amazing Usyk is, particularly Bellew. I was impressed by Usyk as a cruiserweight, but he's never really wow'd me as a heavyweight. He's beat who ever has been put in front of him to be fair, but I thought he made hard work of Chisora, and the whole Dubois knockdown that wasn't a knockdown fiasco etc.

In my eyes it depends which Fury turns up. I think Usyk might give Fury a couple of difficult rounds, but I just can't see a way that Usyk wins here. Especially if Fury is sharp and up for it.

But maybe I'm just a wee clueless *, and the boxing experts know a lot more than me. Whoever wins should probably fight Parker, he seems to be on the rise these days.

I think Fury will get beat, he's not fought much in years and his main asset was probably how quick he was especially for his size but we've not really seen him properly in years and hes 35 now, he's past his best now and Usyk being naturally smaller will be sharper.

I feel like Usyk will be able to hit him easy and probably dance around him not getting caught much, Fury maybe too slow about the ring to do much about it.

But then again who knows maybe he does still have a wee bit of speed. He doesn't look good to me though, even before he seemed in good shape despite his size but now he looks quite bad.

Worth remembering that Usyk is actually 2 years older, and has had over 300 * fights, alongside some very heavy fights as a pro, against naturally bigger men.

Plenty of miles on the clock for both guys.

Really excited about this. Usyk has the chance to make history here, but he has to be near perfect to do so, while grinding out inevitable rough patches. The exciting part is that he’s more than capable of delivering the level of performance required.

I really think and hope Usyk will win and have this sneaky sneaky feeling it will be a stoppage. But we can all wait and see and may the best man win on the night win. And if Usyk wins i cannot wait to see the face of Fury's * Dad.

He’s come in at a career heaviest by a significant amount, which is interesting.

Forget that actually. Video doing the rounds showing the doctor saying 223lbs and Buffer then announcing 233lbs.

One thing I forgot to add to this is that Parker absolutely battered Wilder. Fury has had a few tough fights in his career. Among them were Wallin, nGannou and Wilder. Recently we’ve seen all 3 get absolutely battered with total ease.

Should be a really close contest this but I’ve got to say I have to side with Fury. The man steps up in the big moments and he has a massive size advantage.

Fury is up for this and not in the same poor physical state he was versus ngannou, love that usyk went to fight on front line as world champion to defend his homeland but a fit eager fury should win, reach size makes it difficult for usyk to hurt fury, should be good

    from bbc,

Ukraine’s Usyk weighed in at a career-heavy 16st 6lb while Fury - at 18st 7lb - came in at his lightest in over four years.

Prior to the Joshua fight it felt quite lonely telling people I think Usyk would win, got ripped apart for it. A little less so when I said he would win the rematch too.

Been saying since he stepped up to heavyweight that this would cause the division problems and I don't see fury stopping him either. Usyk for me is an incredible boxer, one of the best I seen.

Be backing Usyk and hope he does it

The weights announced for Usyk was incorrect. He came in at 15 stone 9lbs.
