    if you add all the transfer fees together you will probably see we have spent a considerable amount over the last 3 years and a lot of that money has been on crap.

    My opinion that the club take the fans for granted didn't start when we lost to the huns, I have felt that for a long time now. To suggest that it could be posted on follow follow is pish, its celtic fans talking about the guys who we pay * thousands to every year ffs :97:

    Wind your neck in Hammer. It's called free speech, which we're all entitled to. You might not like it or agree with it, but why come on a forum and then complain when people post something you don't like?

    A lot of people find the subject of what we've spent (or NOT spend) on new players a very emotional and emotive issue. They're quite within their rights to vent as they wish. I don't agree with a lot of the posts either but I don't come out with the kind of comments you just did. If anyone's guilty of a knee * reaction/comment, it's been yourself in comparing passionate Celtic fans to Huns. More than a bit iffy that mate :38:

    The have said they had a number of targets and a lot of them didn't want to come.

    What do you want the board to do ???? hand over a warchest of 20m it's never going to happen but i agree that the left back situ need sorted out and should have been by now .

    Agreed - £20m aint going to happen - but when we seemingly had Tamas and Basa lined up and didn't get them the writing was on the wall.

    Personally I want the board to have a bit of ambition and at least get us 1 to 2 players each season that IMPROVE the starting XI.

    One player they have signed that improved their team - Mendes. Care to name any others?

    They already had Davis, Bougherra is not an improvment on Cuellar, Velicka has been crap in the pre season and games he has played, Lafferty has a bit of pace but nothing partciularly dazzling, Miller will be what he always has been - pish

    I have every right to voice my positive opinion just as you do your negative one, thanks.

    I also stand by every single word, it's a joke. This thread wouldn't have been created if it weren't for 1 defeat against rangers. That's how petty it's became now, the difference between the board being good for the club and the board being penny pinching swines is 1 game of football, farcical.

    Mate just because we lost yesterday it doesnt have anything to do with this * thread.

    You are acting like your some sort of uber fan because your back celtic to relegation.

    We needed a leftback all summer. Everyone and their mother was screaming for one. We didnt get one has nothing to do with yesterday. This has to do with our * * * summer transfer season and not addressing the most needed position.

    So get the * off your high horse.

    If that question was to me CE to be honest I don't give a flying * about Rangers, (as I've said on a couple of threads tonight), and I didn't say anything about them in my post.

    My concern is Celtic and having won 3 IAR and last 16 of CL twice I expect a bit more backing from the board - 1 to 2 players a season to improve the starting line up surely isn't too much to ask.

    I am telling you this thread would not have been created or indeed have within it such opinions if it weren't for yesterdays defeat, fact.

    I know as well as you and everyone else does that we need a left back but if your stupid enough to think they're holding off giving him money to sign one then that is up to you.

    * shocking you try and stand up for the board, the manager and the players and you get shot down, especially from people within positions of power on the board. The tact you showed there was disgraceful.

    Yes the board HAVE not delivered in getting us a good left back but i agree with hammer you cant cane the board for one bad season .
