    The record transfers and pushing the boat out was lies and rumours that the board allowed to be put out there.

    We started it with Ange and those discussions, ideas of £30m to be spent without needing to sell. Barrowfield improvements and analytical rooms to be done up etc.

    Ange walked out of that meeting and knew it was all a pack of lies and told his agent to find him the next club. Spurs job was lined up and his name got pushed forward for it. A bit of good fortune fell his way when others bowed out, but inevitably his agent and his side kept that pushing forward.

    We bring in Rodgers, the fans come around to the idea, it's backed by the notion of spending big, Rodgers alludes to it as well stating he's impressed with the changes in recruitment. He's a happy lad.
    Weeks later, he's excusing them, windows shuts and he's chucked it (not saying he's right to do that).

    Boards a pack or lying * that need * off big time.

    I'd take a foreign investment in to the club - not to inject stupid money and make us an oil/Arab club, but just someone who knows how to run an ambitious sports club for * sake.

    They'll back Rodgers in January to make sure we win the league. The problem is they don't see any financial incentive to invest more in the team for Europe so we will end up with situation every couple of years.

    Not quite. They did have to hide Lawwell after the COVID season. A forceful pressure by the fans has a chance of causing panic in the boardroom.

    Die hard fans willing to put in their money year in, year out. Do enough to keep us as the competitive top dogs and the sponsor deals keep coming as well.

    Easy money for them. That's all they care about.

    Who would have thought on the day we lifted the Premiership trophy last season that we would be going into this seasons games with Taylor, Turnbull, Johnson, Forrest and an ageing Hart? Add to that a bunch of projects who have totally failed to impress. This is all down to a board who's only interest is making a profit. Hopefully fans groups and some influential businessmen who's main priority is the team on the park on not the bank balance come together to get rid of the lot of them

    I honestly don't think I can say anymore regarding this board that hasn't been already said or I've said before.

    Unless they are removed this club is completely *, simple as.
