Who makes up the board btw? Like what’s the jobs they have and positions to make the decisions.

Also they aren’t the ones making the signings, we’ve got a full setup for that and confirmed by everyone that its the manager targeting and saying who signs. They deal with the money.

How much bang for our back have we got from that summer? The only one to make a proper impact is Palma. I like the look of Holm and Yang.

Nawrocki looked good from the slight amount we glimpsed but so did Yuki next to CCV. Lagerbielke is somewhere abandoned in purgatory or something.

We spent heavy at CB and ended up lucky Scales has turned out to be a player. We spent big this summer, but we spent useless. £16m-£18m odd and there’s £3.5m/£4m of that playing a part.
Worrying thing with that is historically, when a manager has misspent, we stop giving him money to spend and scattergun on loads of average guys and hope ones a gem.

I’m convinced BR wouldn’t be back without assurances he’ll be backed and the issues he argued publicly about and left over really aren’t the terms this time. Add in the fact Peter Lawwell’s boy needs a couple of big signings to prove his worth, makes me hope at least we will see big movement the next two windows. Not sure if I’m trying to persaude myself that’s logical so will happen instead of looking at what has happened every other time outwith Ange

 

Too many of our fans have bought too much into the commercial side of things. Look, we all understand we need money to operate, but you would honestly think it was some people’s personal account at times. When we get into the CL, the first priority on some people’s minds is how much money we will make from it. We are a * “football” club. It should be excitement about who we can face and playing in the top competition in Europe. It’s at the point now where the moneys is irrelevant anyway because it’s not getting spent on the playing side of things. Surely being a football fan is all about wanting to see the best possible team we can on the park? It’s not about how much money we have in the bank.

Then you get the halfwits choking for a Man City or Madrid so they can see certain players. It’s nothing short of embarrassing.

 

Can we truly * sack this board already?

Rodgers is a decent manager, we can't dent that. He's not as great as we first expected or his ego may make him believe, but the guy walked us to 2 back to back trebles and lined up the treble treble with * ease.

This domestic league is not a * issue for Rodgers. So I'm not gonna buy in to that he's not good enough to get a tune out of this side.

What I will buy in to, is that he left for a reason last time and the similarities are all too * similar this season.

He's blatantly been lied to when signing back up with us, he's clearly figured that out very * quickly and this season rings far to familiar to his last season at times when he was * off with the board.


Same * board, just the faces sit in different seats today.

I haven't posted much since the end of the transfer window. Most knew this would happen and others accepted the terrible window and laughed at how bad the huns were instead.

This is 100% down to the board, they spent the deadline watching us spend our money on the anniversary kit. BR was not given the players he identified and not only do we lack power but we have lost the pace. Its actually worse than expected because we are playing games with scales, MJ and Forest.

Now the huns are improving and our team looks to have lost confidence. Board haven't learned from the covid season.

 

Twice in 5 years these morons have failed to hire the correct manager, oversaw a massive decline and handed a * awful hun side the chance at a title

 

We could have overhauled their trophy count this year...got 10 in a row a few years ago and here we are again with that fat * at the helm...you'd almost think he was a fukin Hun the way he operates .

 

The * don't have a clue how to run a football club. Cronyism in full flow and won't even pay a living wage to staff but slap a £40k/week 4 year deal at James McCarthys table.

Meanwhile they bring back a past it manager who dropped us in a heartbeat mid season knowing full well it would divide the fan base and ban the one section of the ground that generate atmosphere.

Imagine in any other form of business you are financially & employee so far ahead of your competition you stand still. Your gross incompetence then hands your competitor a £50m contract! If you where a CEO or board you would be sacked for corporate sabotage or gross incompetence!
