The club was founded in 1887 with the purpose of alleviating poverty in the immigrant Irish population in the East End of Glasgow. They played their first match in May 1888, a friendly match against Rangers which Celtic won 5–2.

I hope they are all enjoying watching rangers go top. * useless * every single one of them. It is so obvious looking back at how lucky the Ange appointment was. Bar him coming in without that fat parasite Lawwell, it has always been completely useless behind the scenes. Rodgers appointment was DD's and so arrogantly lazy and half-arsed. It sums everything about us behind the scenes up perfectly.

 

Exactly amateurs the * lot of them and need chased literally.

There's too many of us to fill gaps in income on match days for them to be forced to do anything about what we're seeing.

 

Nepotism and arrogance is rife at our club just now, there’s no redeeming this in the summer they can all * off.

I’ll not be buying another thing from the club until we see this old guard of Tory * pushed out … The club needs to be taken to a new level and they’re totally unwilling and incapable of doing so.


Looking back at it, that summer window and the narrative of it coming from them through their usual media folk was comical… 5 year plan to a European Final… Biggest transfer window for Celtic in years etc ….

Stage one of that plan was buying Tillio, Yang, Kwon, Lagerbielke, Holm … so either they think we’re all incredibly stupid or they are incredibly stupid and have not a clue about how to progress this club.

 

Why don’t they ever put in that statement the fact that Celtic supporters actually physically built the first stadium

 

They have no play left now. They could have fully supported BR in Jan but didn’t. Still find this strange, perhaps they thought the money he was being paid was adequate and enough to get the current group winning and securing another title.

He’s being paid a very handsome salary and we’re seeing no value whatsoever. As it stands, BR and the board have failed this season. We’re not securing points and we’re not performing well on the pitch.

Well guess we all know Outlook

With the huns now Champions as we are in free fall, guaranteed non qualification for the CL as we never do it amd then the firesale of probably the likes of oreilly, ccv,abada (obvious) and hetate, that'll help and then we'll spend around £10-15m on around 5 or 6 projects hoping 1 comes off (probably 4 or 5 wingers as per).

Should be interesting next year.

 

We'll sell our assets to "Balance the books" due to inevitable failure to qualify for the CL next year.

This despite sitting on what will be nearer to £90m-£100m in the bank.

But we'll be told we need to sell due to non qualification.

 

As a support we can accept losing games and even losing titles but it’s the manner in which we’ve chucked this away that’s unacceptable. Especially when we have a massive opportunity in January to right the wrongs of the summer window and we somehow came out of the window weaker than we did going into it.

You’re right though. Nothing will change as people like myself renew regardless of success or failure.

Protests and boycotting games however would bring an unwanted media spotlight on their failures and put pressure on them. Who wants to go watch that * football anyway?

 

The Huns were liquidated in 2012 and within 10 years reached a European final.

We’ve not won a European knockout tie since 2003.

That says it all for me.

There’s no ambition within the hierarchy to progress as a club.

They’ve taken all the enjoyment out of supporting Celtic.

Whats happened

 

They're gonna take us back to the glory days of champions league qualifiers whilst we sell our best players. At least we can't play Bitton at CB for them anymore

 

Starve them out, its the only way.. could be a few years of pain but if we don't it's going to be years of the same * anyway.

Decades to tell us we can't spend til we knew what competition we was in. Decades telling us players held off to see what competition we was in as well. Excuses after excuses.

We get automatic entry and they still * it up.
To the point that we are literally going backwards and having to see what competition we end up in...not that we will do anything
