Some * * commentator used that in the Ross County match....I just hoped it was wrong as it sounded gash. I was taking the o / e together as a different sound, truth be told. Perhaps more in hope than anything else!

He's stood out like a sore thumb in the little time he has played, really looks class.

 

Would always say "De brrrr" (as in Christ it's freezing) myself. Almost reminiscent of a non-teutonic umlaut effect in terms of expression. Probably wrong, but hey ho. You're not a * cloggy, so i'm not giving in just yet!:smiley-laughing002:

 

I'm sure earlier on in this thread, maybe near the beginning one of the Dutch guys told us how to pronounce it. I always say Bow-rig-ter, probably way off though.

i'd say it looks more like Boo-richter to me. Wheres Derksen when you need him?

 

It's pronounced Boohr-richter. Boohr as in book; "ch" as in "loch" is probably the best approximation for the "g".

 

Not having a great time of it 1st half. A couple of good moments though.

Hopefully takes it up a notch after the break.

 

Hes good when hes in space and is able to get running but dutd are crowding him out atm.

 

Also the pitch is * and the ball is bobbling about all over the place, it's hard to run with the ball when it's bouncing about in front of you.

 

See when we come up against European opposition who don't sit back in there own half this is when we will see what this man can really do

 

Was thinking the same the other day. I think he may well do a Bobby Petra for us vs Ajax.

 

You wouldn't have known he was on the pitch in the second half, the way Dundee utd were set out didn't really suit him.
