Yeah, let's pick on a foreigner for an imprecise use of English.

 

I posted a while back on Derk that I met him outside Morrisons in Partick and spoke to him on his future.

Firstly, he is a really genuine guy. Very happy to speak to me and wasn't arrogant in any way.

I asked him if he's staying and he said: "hopefully not, because the manager doesn't want me". He is now passed his injury as well.

He also said that he "doesn't want to go back to Holland".

I said I was really excited when we signed him and he said the same thing for coming to Celtic but it obviously didn't work out for him.

Then I wished him all the best and afterwards I was a little bit gutted after speaking to him as he's such a stand-up guy.

So, my advice to all is don't take any basic-English, internet comments to mean anything bad, he's much more disappointed than us it didn't work out for him.

 

So he doesn't want to be here hence why he would say 'stuck', no?
So his grasp of basic English is pretty good in that case.

 

Doesn't look like he is complaining to me, looks like he is making a joke about it. Yet another wasted signing which will end up costing us millions. Sad thing is, he probably isn't the worst - Balde, Bangura.....

I doubt he is stuck here either for that matter. I am sure Celtic would gladly let him go for free and offer him a payoff as well.

The Dutch tend to have a good grasp of the English language.
Ill take it as a joke because he knows he isn't playing.


But if he is over his injury, I do wonder why we aren't playing him. He has talent and experience. We lack that, yet we keep signing an abundance of attacking mid players.

As far as I am aware he doesn't even train with the first-team. He is out of the picture and that's that.

True though, we've binned him and he'll never play again and nobody has tried to sign him so he is stuck lol

We should be offering him to Dutch teams on loan for half his wages with a buy clause of about £300k.
