Just bumping this thread to ask a question.

Anyone know of any bars in Glasgow that sell Hop House 13 these days?

Cheers mate. Should have said meant more in city centre but might stop by some time.

Had it a lot when in Ireland but don't see it here that much. Been aff it all month and finding myself wanting a few of this on Saturday.

Love a wee Kingfisher when I’m out at a good Indian.

Goes nice with poppadom and spiced onions.

Tyskie, or the fake Birra Moretti or Peroni from Aldi are my go to at the moment.

One of the worst beers I’ve tasted if I’m honest. Only topped by St. Mungo.

Don't like St Mungo at all, enjoy Hop House 13.

Suppose it's all personal taste. I generally look for Tennents anywhere I go in Glasgow that's not a regular bar, and I know a lot of folk hate Tennents. Know folk from abroad that love Tennents as well.

Hop House 13 was discontinued a long time ago.

I'd like to take a lot of people on this thread to a beer tasting session.

It’s snobby to dislike T, the facts of the matter are it’s the greatest session lager ever created.

Never been a big beer drinker but if pushed I enjoy Erdinger. Not many though as it's heavy in the stomach.

They were definitely serving it in a bar I was in in Westport last year. Diageo don't do it but it's still about as far as I can see.

I can and will drink any lager obviously, love a good Guinness, love Tennents, have spent time drinking different lagers in Germany, Czech, Italy, Holland; like places with good beer and lager, just enjoy Hop House and Tennents. They're both very different but to my taste.

Ran out of all beer the now so whisky til bed.

I drink it by the 88 pint barrel. Literally.

Went through a period in the summer one would last 6 weeks, getting a bit longer out them now :56:

Did that Tennents tour not long ago and see they stronger versions, beautiful.

I used to buy cases of that Tennents dark and then they stopped it.
