green brigade section was bouncing until we wont down 2-1 , i sit in 112 and we all kept bouncin about even when the half time whistle went a thought it was decent until we went down killed the place stone dead

 

I find it really annoying when fellow fans stand up at inappropriate times and block my view of the game.
You can always tell that it is maybe their first time at a game for ages and they do not recognise the proper etiquette as to whe they should/should not stand up.

I have told people to sit down simply because I cannot see the game. You can still sing when you are sitting down.

I can assure you that is not my first game in ages as I have a season ticket. Also I have no issue with sitting down but I thought the atmosphere in the first ten mins meant that every fan should stay on their feet singing to show the team some support. Fair enough if he couldn't see the game but his attitude stank, he didn't join in with singing once and did nothing but slag the team so in my opinion I am a better addition to the fans and atmosphere than that grumpy git.

Celtic should start a section for non-singing sitters and they can all get together and complain about the noise and slag the team.

 

With all due respect Declan, you keep going on about the morons that dont back the team by singing! These are the same morons that spend hundreds on season tickets and merchandise. Without the morons money being injected into the team we would be up * creek. I personally sing my heart out week in, week out. If these people want to sit and watch the game quietly then its their choice, they are paying through the nose so should be able to do what they want.

At times it felt like I was the only * singing.

 

I am happy to join in CELTIC songs. When people are singing about Bobby Sands, Aiden McAnespie, and the IRA. Why should I sing.

I am a CELTIC fan. Not a rebel, , nor am I catholic, so why should I sings songs, or sing things like the Fields of Athenrye, when the loudest part of the song, is some * Shouting sinn fein, or IRA????????????????????????????

The club needs backing?????????????

We have 6 season tickets, which is soon going to be 8. Thats the best part of 2 and a half grand PER YEAR.

I have paid my money, so the players should be busting a gut, WEEK IN , WEEK OUT. After all it is their JOB.

For the money per week they are on, they should be playing every * day. There are guys out there paid to kick a ball, and get more a week than what I get a year.

The first has was a good atmosphere but the second was dead, mainly because they scored two in the first ten minutes.

 

Thought the atmosphere was quite good. Why don't people bring their banners and flags to Celtic Park for every home game? There was some nice banners hanging from each stand, especially the Jock Stein stand. I seen a big Celtic Jersey being passed around aswell which was pretty cool.

Regardless of the money you pay for season tickets the club still needs backing and people sitting in silence all in order to prove a point gives nothing for the club.

 

Exactly, folk can go on and on about how much money they spend in order to try and justify their support but support, to me, mainly consists of singing, cheering the Hoops on, not getting on the players backs with vicious abuse whilst at the games, not leaving when we're losing, and remaining faithful through and through no matter what.

In reality, if you pay your money but moan all the way through, never sing, boo and abuse the players, leave when we're losing etc then you are a customer not a very good "supporter".

 

im the exact same tbh mate, 'freedom fighters' have * all to do with our club, songs like the fields of athenry are different, but bobby sand has * all to do with us.

 

Exactly mate, far too many people think 'i pay x amount to a club and therefore you should give me success regardless'. Customer sums it up perfectly. Fans have been spoiled over the past decade and these are the fans who perhaps would have deserted us during long periods without any success like the 90's.

 

They wouldn't have given it a second thought mate - they would have been off like a shot and then would have came crawling back when we stopped the ten and then back again when MON turned things around. Totally shameless.

We are better off without this type of "supporter" - spoilt brats.

Totally agree, the team needs the push and its us to do that. Why did I pay for a season ticket? To sing and cheer on the bhoys

Why did the others choose to buy there ticket? Sit down all game and stare and moan? terrible in my honest opinion.

We need the whole stadium rocking and it doesn't matter who we play or where we play, we are Celtic supporters that's what its all about at a stadium and why you buy your season ticket.
