    I watched the Spartak Moscow v Zilina Champions League match Tuesday and credit to McGeady he played very well. Was involved in most of their most dangerous moves and worked back quite well at times. He seems to be off to a pretty good start in Russia.

    It's great to see Aiden doing well with Spartak Moscow, I just had a strong feeling he would with them.

    Yesterday Spartak won match away match against Anzhi. The field was more like kailyard. Aiden tried really hard, and from time to time he was successful, but the pitch was really awful.

    I think Aiden had the most crazy impression after this match. Spartak team was evacuated by the bus directly from the pitch. The bus was attacked 3 times by local supporters with stones on the way to the airport. Spartak fans were in much harder situation...

    Glad Aiden is doing well. Would love to see him back someday.

    PS. How in the * is the Russian league so rich when everytime I watch a game the stadium is half full or less?

    eh emm?? every time ive seen him hes on the right. he was goin bananas at ali and alex the last two games, for not passing the ball wide when he made a run. and in second half of 4 games hes played the manager moved him central behind the strikers and he created havoc,:celt_2:

    The problem is sometimes with starting time of the game. Like the previous game was played at 18:00 on Friday, while most of the fans won't be able to get to the stadium at that time because of work and traffic jams.
    The second problem is that Luzhniki stadium is quite huge, capacity is about 85 000, so it's quite hard to get it full during games with some weak teams.
    Probably you will see it absolutely full during games against Chelsea, CSKA, Zenith.

    Oil. That and the fact that they suffer from the MLS problem of playing in enormous stadiums that make a 20-30k crowd look like it's only 10k.
