We've been over our opinion of him as a player many times, but both his personal on field achievements and as a collective in his 7 or 8 years he was here speaks for themselves IMO.

I'll still respect him when he steps over the line to play against us, however I won't treat him any different than any other player that is playing against us. Unless he starts diving all over the shot, hacking our players and generally acting like a * but that's the same for every single one of their players.

Like I say, there will be an initial show of respect, but my mind will be on Celtic maximizing points from that game - McGeady's feelings will be the last thing on my mind :50:

    That I agree on.

Also hope you're right about Larsson. I get a disgustin wee shameful feeling when I think of that.

I can honestly say Larsson was NEVER booed mate - categorically :50:

Infact, when he scored I heard a few guys about me sarcastically give it the auld "* sake Henrik" then laughing.

Not only was he given a standing ovation, he was widely applauded by the support when it was seen he hid his emotions when he scored the goal by not celebrating - clapped loud as * so he was :50:

He was only clapped by some when he came on or scored. Id say more were booing than clapping at both occasions. Even more so when he scored.

Everyboody wasnt booing, but when he came on about 1/6 of the stadium clapped and about 1/5 booed. Then when he scored about 1/4 booed and about 1/8 clapped. I remember the booing very well as I was at the game by myself, so I wasnt talking to anybody or anything when both things happened.

Well that was one of the games I attended whilst sobre as well, and most certainly heard no booing.

Infact, the only negative things I heard being shouted directly at Larsson was a some tongue in cheek "Bobo's gonnae get ye".

Since when did every single opposition player get booed every time they touched the ball? It never happens. Not even against Rangers. So why would it happen against Spartak? People saying "treat him like another player", which is fine... but that means not acknowledging him and just ignoring him.

No need to boo McGeady, just treat him like you would anyone else. And clap/cheer him before or after the match.

I hope and I am sure he won't get booed every time he touches the ball. What has he done to merit that?

That being said I don't think anyone will be singing his name or applauding him if he scores.

He should get a warm reception when his name is called out, after that he should treated like any other player.

PS it was £28 and I would have been a concession then.

To be fair I wasn't at the Barca game but if Larsson was indeed boo'ed then that's a * disgrace. He is Parkhead royalty and should be treated like such.

As for McGeady I will give him a warm welcome before the game but as soon as he's on the park he's the enemy. I won't be singling him out for any booing/jeering but the first time he takes a dive or makes a foul he'll get pelters from all angles (myself included most likely).

Its a good reminder about prices keeping your old tickets, I have about 10 Ibrox ones going back about 7 years and can see how the prices have risen over that time.

I have kept all my big game tickets from around 2004 I think I started the first few are the Larsson Seville game, Barca UEFA Cup game.

Im quite disappointed that I never kept my Juventus, Rosenborg or Porto CL Group game ones as if I did I would have every home Champions League proper game Celtic have ever played :54:

Are we really talking about Mcgeady getting booed? I've been at games where our own fans have booed him when he was playing FOR us, never mind against us :D.

Our fans booed the king on his return.... says it all.

Used to keep tickets myself, but like most stuff - end up in the bin

I've sat in T1-5 since the stadium was opened - more or less the opposite end from that ticket's seating.

Where I was sat, there was ABSOLUTELY no booing of Larsson - if there was a few knobheads at your end that were up to it, then they should have been booted down every * stair on the way down to the ground.

Loads of people booed Larsson when he scored, as I said earlier it was joke booing. You see it every single time a player goes back to his old club or in a testimonial or whatever, it's not actually booing like "I hate that * I'm gonna stab him" it's just mocking it and taking the *.

That night vs Barca most people were probably just crying tbh!

Aiden will get booed by a few folk when he gets the ball to try and put him off, when he does something good he'll get a few cheers and claps, and if he * up there'll be a massive sarcastic cheer.

    It's all just banter.

    People * baffle me.

Whether you rate him or not, he is Celtic-daft and one of us, people talking about him getting kicked etc is beyond belief.

A naturally gifted player that can take the whole team up the pitch in a flash. Yeah he has flaws in his game, but he is never afraid to take a player on and can do some ridiculous things with the ball at his feet that others who are mooted as 'world class' can only dream of.

Will be a pleasure to see you back at CP Aiden. :50:

I was never much of a fan of his, but I sure as * won't boo him. He's a good player, and left on good terms.
