but if you really are a good player it would show despite tactics or the opposition. Those are just poor excuses for having a poor game

McGeady really is a luxury player, not suited to Ireland at all.

Aiden had scored a goal in last match against Volga and played really great.

Good strike .. strange how he always seems to generate a better shot with his left foot when he is naturally right-sided.

Always thought he was better at placing shots with his left and generating power on his right. Same with his crossing.

Aiden McGeady is pushing Spartak Moscow to allow him to move to Sunderland. The Republic of Ireland winger has made no secret of his ambition to play at the top level of the English game, with the opportunity to work again with Martin O'Neill a particular attraction.

I am not sure that Spartak will let him go easily, it might happen only in case of good offer by Sunderland and if Spartak has a good player as a substitute. Moreover Spartak is playing in CL and has good chances in this championship, plus Spartak has bought quite good players this season and has really great coach.

As for the upcoming game with zenit, it should a really good game, both teams are in a good form, both are going undefeated this season so far (3 games only though ))), both hate each other, one claiming to be very popular and one which is really popular (Spartak), one representing government (Gazprom) and one representing private sector (Lukoil), also at the end of last season there was a powerful away victory by Spartak against zenit and a referee (crazy penalty and crazy red card).

I remember that red card, the black player for celebrating a goal :56:

Hope Spartak beat them and win the League. The games at 10:30am actually live on ESPN.

I hope also that it will happen :77: Thanks!

There is an anti Spartak alliance, we call it blue pool: zenit, cska and dinamo. Their main goal is to win Spartak by all means and not to allow Spartak to win championship... the first two teams work with refs and have quite strong administrative resource. Those three clubs wrote a letter for disqualification of Welliton for six games after Welliton and Akinfeev collision outside of goalkeeper zone which lead to Akinfeev injury. Welliton got 6 games disqualification which later were changed to 4 not allowing Spartak to go to Lozanna.
Later on Kerzhakov broke jaw, right orbital bone and right skull bone to Spartak goalkeeper Dikan. He didn't receive any disqualification or even a yellow card.

    Here is a video comparison:

last season got the white spartak away top with "mcgeady 64" on the back then he changed to number 8 the week after! my re teacher is best mates with him and he said he'll get him to send out another top with his name in russian (real number and lettering) class gesture. Also said he wants to come back one day ( obviously not soon) gutted when we sold him, hope he gets a PL move soon though.

He is 26 now and still has not added the main key thing to his game goals .

Just the style of player he is though. Figo, Nani, Di Maria, Rui Costa, Zidane even guys like Joe Cole, Duff and lots of others were players that didnt score a lot of goals, Zidane and Figo usually boosted their tallies by taking penalties. But they all created a lot of chances and goals like McGeady.
