How do you know where there ancestry lies ?

I'm not comparing them fs :smiley-laughing002: These people are brainwashed into seeing any occupation of Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan as an assault on there people, ie Muslims.

Step one would maybe to stop going through the annals of history every time a crazed Islamist kills men, women and children in an attempt to blame anybody but the ideology they represent. Stop the self-hatred and collective guilt and address the real issues.

"A man killed 87 innocent men, women and children in 2016? But what about the Crusades in 1095 AD?! It's our fault can't you see!! We caused this!!"

Nothing can be done or will be done, it's circle that repeats itself there are too many issues and reasons for why we are in this mess. The future is where people get so sick and tired of it that they self divide themselves which we are already seeing.

Would have thought the French would be actively debating about sending in their Foreign Legion to engage in combat with Isis forces. Even if it is out of the question, it would show that they are seeking out and discussing all possible options to deal with the terrorist threat.

Read somewhere that the amount of terrorist attacks in France is higher from 2013 to now than it was from 1970 to 2013. Clearly something proactive has to happen.

Cut ties with the House of Saud. It's them that have propagated radical Islamist ideology throughout the world. It's them that fund them. Make it clear to them they sort out their * or they'll be left to wither on the vine by the West, no trade, no co-operation, no diplomatic immunity for their Princes when they are accused of rape in the west, when they are drunk and coked out their *(how very Islamic) in their European and American mansions

Also actually on the ground the Kurds need armour and artillery as well as the air strikes. If ISIS lose their territory it will stem the flow of western Muslims going there and fighting. Therefore they can't come back and be as effective at killing here.

I think we need to all change are facebook profile pictures to show "solidarity" with the French people, make sure to pray for Nice, also don't forget to go out of our way to make sure that people know that it's #NotAllMuslims and that #RefugeesWelcome. Also it's important that we forget about this in a few days and repeat the same cycle when the next atrocity occurs. Oh and don't forget to point out that it's probably the west's fault because pre-2003 Islam was an incredibly peaceful religion that never caused any harm to anyone. But the most important thing is to make sure you show how progressive you are and call out any "bigots" or "racists" (who cares if Islam isn't a race) if they dare suggest that Islam has a serious violence problem.

If we follow all of this I'm sure Islamist extremists will eventually get the message and stop.

The Kurds are probably the only ones who could beat ISIS on the ground given the right support. But that will never happen. If it did, what would 25million Kurds do once they have the hardware? Fight Turkey for independence & that won't happen with Western help.

They might have a point if they only bombed Western countries, but they don't. They bomb Muslim countries and the Middle East tenfold, what can you say then? Do people not realise that these are genocidal killers hellbent on destruction? Do they not realise they're influenced and motivated by visions and memories of the Caliphate which predates any Western influence in the East? They honestly don't give a * about history, they really don't. They have a book and it controls their way of thinking and they act upon what their own interpretations are of the book.

They are intent on dragging us into a war it would seem! All i can see is the various European right wing groups getting stronger, and stronger! Its the poor genuine innocent muslim people living in Europe that will end up paying the price if this continues.

Definitely, the more this continue the more the extreme right benefits from it and it'll end up being ordinary innocent Muslims who suffer from it. It's such a sad state.

People like Maajid Nawaz and Ayaan Ali who are from Muslim backgrounds come out constantly and slate the ideology that drives these people. Both have had countless death threats for doing so.

Good Muslims, of which there are many in Europe need to protest these people as much as they protest against cartoons. Then we might see change.

The Kurds are Muslims, by and large. The Shia are Muslims. The Ahmadis are Muslims. The gay men they've thrown of roofs are Muslim. The dozens executed by ISIS on the beaches of Libya are Muslims. The majority of ISIS' victims, by a huge margin, are Muslims. The problem is not Islam. The problem is the stone age, militaristic Wahabbi form of Islam that Saudi Arabia has been pushing on the Muslim world since the foundation of that abominable state.

Look up Juhayman al-Otaibi and the siege of Mecca and it was the same thing that motivated them. The * up thing is once the Saudi gov. beat al-Otaibi's rebellion, they adopted his ideology as state policy and got even more hardline than they were!
