    Reminds me of New York. It was just out a few months and every bar, shop and restaurant in Manhattan were playing it. You tend to get songs like that. First holiday with my Mrs in Portugal was Alanis Morrisettes you oughta know was everywhere.

    I get what you mean mate it’s funny how certain songs remind us of places or situations. I’m just listening to loads of different stuff just now to try and help with my mood.

    Totally loved that album as a kid and if I’m not mistaken was out around same time as Springsteen “Born in the USA” and Whitney’s debut album. Loved Walk of Life and the vid of all the American sports bloopers. Couldn’t get it on demand then. Had to stay in for a week to catch it being shown somewhere. Absolute bummer when TOTP would only show you about 5 seconds of a vid. Anyway Walk of Life sounds so red neck and country music. The total epitome of what I hate in music but still love this. My da would play these cassettes in the car and Bowie “Lets dance” album.
