Don't play nearly as much as I used to.
Acoustic mainly these days. Play anything with a basic rhythm really, your general popular acoustic numbers.
Absolutely love having a few jars and belting out some Rebs of course. Make up medleys on the spot. When the mrs was away on her henny (in 2012) me and a couple of mates were steamboats and I was playing jelly and ice cream, some * put babestation on and we did "she's gettin her * out when the rangers die" for about 5 mins! Polis chapped the door and my mate answered it draped in a tricolour, bottle of blue nun in hand (ran out of decent booze) and was asked to keep it down :56:Aidan O’Shea and Gercelt like this. -

Prefer acoustic. Got an electric at Xmas....first one in 25 years of playing. Gretsch G2420. Lovely guitar....
Love rock music, but like to play at wee get togethers with a swally....canny beat it!!! I'll play anything from Abba to Zappa....Marty McFly likes this. -

Been playing for 14 years, used to play in bands. I mostly play rock, indie and metal and I prefer playing electric, but acoustic is handy when your neighbours have a new born. :)
I delve into other styles too, but the three I mentioned are what I know best. -

I play quite a bit. Have a few: a gibson 60s SG tribute, american special tele, a takamine electro acoustic, and a hounddog resonator.
Mostly play blues but dip in and out of most genres. I got the resonator at christmas so currently learning slide guitar with alternative tunings. -

Said this in another thread a few months back but it is something I've always wanted to learn.
Never taken the time out to try it though. Would love nothing more than being able to just pick up a guitar and belt out a few tunes. -
Acoustic, but I didn't bring my guitar with me when I moved out 4 years ago and I've fell away from it :54:
Had been playing since primary 4 or something as well. -
I play the banjo, not particularly well, and haven't played it in a while but was in a band a couple years back at uni.
Always intend to get an acoustic guitar though, think that would be easier to play, and wouldn't mind doing a few open mic nights. -
Will get back in to it when I have some free time.
I have zero rhythm though. -
Getting right back into the swing of it though at picking up more and more rhythm patterns, although when I try and put it together with my singing, my rhythm goes to * :56::56::56::54::55: -

I've got loads of instruments but I'm not particularly good at any of them. I can play passable rhythm.
Electric, acoustic, hollow body electric, mandolin, Irish tenor banjo, ukulele, and a fiddle. No idea how to play the fiddle :giggle1: -
