lol, apparently the arrow thing is used in WI and AZ as well... and not a problem there.
Only in Florida, where certain lawyers abound I guess

Florida is crawling with lawyers. I went to a private school there and it was like every other kid was the child of a lawyer. It's not good for the election to have the workers constantly worrying about them leaning over their shoulders checking on what they do.

hehe, Delay fear mongering on MSNBC... love it.
"The damage they're going to do... is going to be unbelievable"
Yea... like when you were at the head of your party leading us into a 2 trillion dollar war we never should have been in, and the economy crashing while the rich got richer. :31:

I literally lol'd when Chris Matthews said "representin'" after talking about "hatin'". He's right though, at least Delay gets the * and goes straight to what he really feels. :56: He didn't pull any punches.

And as a bunch of polls close... they suddenly call a shitload more states

    Obama 175 - McCain 70

I'm kind of surprised CO isn't called yet, over 70% of our votes were early...

edit: I missed one I think...

McCain - 76 (Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Alabama, Georgia, Kansas, Wyoming, North Dakota, Arkansas)
Obama - 175 (Vermont, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, Deleware, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, New York, Rhode Island, Michigan, Minnesota)

    Obama grabs a few more.

*edit* And Arkansas goes to McCain.

That's bad, bad, bad, bad. I think Obama is better for the country than McCain, only slightly so, but I do NOT want them to have total control. They need to be forced to make a few concessions.

Yeap, it'll be shocking if they can get to 60 out of 100 afterall. I'm not quite sure how I feel about Dems having absolute control over the situation though.

Kind of shocking Arizona is too close to call for McCain -- this is his home state, where he's been a senator since the ice age.

Looks like Obama took MI, PA, and WI. If he takes one more swing state its pretty much game.

Obama might lose Virginia... which would be a minor upset, as it was predicted to lean for him.

It's definitely turning out to be closer than I thought it would... that's for sure.

You like how it is now where nothing gets passed through the Senate and if it does it gets vetoed? Will be nice to get something done for a change.

With full control the Dems will be able to roll back all the damage of the past 8 years starting with the end of the Iraq war.

Then we can finally get started on fixing domestic issues like health care and social security.

Obama has MI, PA, WI, and looks to be rolling in OH. Its getting to the point where McCain will need either a miracle or some kind of massive voter fraud allegations to win.

I agree that how it is now doesn't work, and having 100% Repubs in power has left us in shambles... but in an ideal world I'd like the 2 Congresses to be about 50/50... so those guys in the "center" are calling the shots.

That said, most people in America would probably call me a socialist... so if we can get some real healthcare and actually fix some other things I'm all for it.

Jesus, people assuming something because they don't understand people is one of the most annoying things on the site. No, but it is so unhealthy for the country to be under one party.

Ohio is Obama, it's done. McCain gets little Louisiana... doesn't exactly make up for it.

McCain - 85 (Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Alabama, Georgia, Kansas, Wyoming, North Dakota, Arkansas, Louisiana)
Obama - 195 (Vermont, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, Deleware, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, New York, Rhode Island, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio)

Ohio being called for Obama... if these are all right, that should be the nail in the coffin.

    195 - 76 Obama.

They are projecting Obama in Ohio now. No Republican has won an election without winning Ohio.

McCain better hope he can win in CA :56:

So your the "political expert" on this site . You think you would be happy. Your the one who said America has been as bad as Cuba and China the last 8 years.:87:

Democrats are rolling in the House, Senate, and Presidential elections. Looks like most Americans disagree with you.
