His healthcare last I checked was basically to offer the insurance congress gets to children.

As opposed to * Cheney... who was well known for openly eating babies. :icon_mrgreen:

I believe all of those fall under change and hope :50:

I mean... c'mon... healthcare for children. That's some * hope right there.

And getting the * out of Iraq in a timely fashion while refocusing on Afghanistan... definitely change.

I think he'd probably go for stem cell research and other commiefascist stuff like that too.

Under * Cheney the best way to get medical for kids was to enlist.
How's that worked out for us? ;)

Commiefascist has to be one of the best sarcastic words ever. But, unfortunately you forgot he's also a terrorist because he "pals" around with Bill Ayers. :icon_mrgreen:

Healthcare for all it should be! It puzzles me this belief with many in the USA that socialized medicine is a bad thing, and anyone who even slightly advocates such a system is labeled by some as a pinko socialist! Sure it has many faults, but the current model is backwards.

But if he fulfills his pledge for healthcare for young 'uns, that's a step in the right direction..

The problem with that for most Americans is that it means higher taxes... and Americans don't like taxes. I mean Americans really, really, really do not like taxes.

And McCain takes the other Dakota. And McCain gets 4 of Nebraskas 5 votes, because of their different system. Hmm, how do I do this.

McCain - 142 (Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Alabama, Georgia, Kansas, Wyoming, North Dakota, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, Mississippi, South Dakota, Nebras)
Obama - 208 (Vermont, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, Deleware, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, New York, Rhode Island, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Iowa, New Mexico, Wisconsin, ka)

They should introduce sneaky wee stealth taxes, like cyphering lottery money, or money from fun fairs. Straight into their coffers and into your hospitals!

I should get some sleep but this is compelling. I want to see the bit Obama comes out of a giant letter O surrounded by confetti and glitter. Then he does his Kennedy speech, before phoning the removal van and AT&T to get his broadband shifted over.

One minute till he's president, because he just moved to 220, which means California will push him to 275 when they close in 30 seconds.

I agree but you gotta be sneaky about it.
Getting healthcare for the "poor children" is an outstanding foot-in-the-door move. From there it's hopefully just a wee hop from healthcare for all.

On the increased taxes issue... so why is everyone for a big military then? Having this massive military is * worthless... and I served in it. :31:
And it sucks up a lot more money than healthcare (which we're already spending a shitload on... we mostly just need to redirect that money so it's not being wasted on crap like legal fees and price gouged "services")

Yeah, it's a shame the south are still pretty far behind generally.
