I hate neck tattoo's - they just look neddy! I do like the art of tattoos, however, but the neck, face and hands are the worst places to get them.

 

Anything on the side or the front of the neck looks * (IMHO).

 

Chances are you might need to cover it if you are working some places as well.

 

I got one down there , its says ",hi,", didn't take two long eather to do ,and only payee 25pence for it hahah,,yea man ,,slan

My brothers got one on his neck. Looks quite smart to be honest.

I couldn't get away with it due to having an office job though.

 

I have a lot of tattoosand believe me the worst thing is to think i want a tattoo here but dont knkw what.

Firstly you need to think of something that actually means something to you. Not a saying thay maybe sounds cool at the time because you will probably regret it.

Think of something, think about it for a wee while to make sure you dont go off the idea and then get it done.

I like neck tattoos as long as they are done well.

I think neck tattoos look scummy and should you commit a crime you'll stick out like a sore thumb in a police line-up.

"Yeah, big ugly tattoo on his neck."

Do yourself a favour and dont inlict a life on yourself of everyone taking you for an utter * or a junkie

 

I have a tattoo on my arm that I got when I was younger and my mother threw a bit of a fit over it when I told her as you may expect. I justified the idea to her and myself by saying that if ever I grew up to by the kind of person who worked in a suit and felt embarrassed about tattoos, then it would serve as a reminder of a time that I was much more fun, youthful, in love with life, and interesting. A kind of "* you" from the younger me to the older me (though I didnt quite put it like that of course).

And she said fair enough but suggested I get it at the top of my arm so I could at least hide it "when I was older and wiser" (in her own words).

Nowadays, sadly I have become an older and far more boring version of my former self. And while I like my tattoo because it reminds me of youth, I am very glad I can cover it up with dark shirts. Perhaps I may go through a sort of midlife crisis and want to wear short sleeves to show it off, but until then I am happy covering it up.

The moral of the story you might ask? DONT GET A TATTOO ON YOUR NECK!
