I agree Kevtun mate, it looks to be * promising. lol:84:

    No bother Hammy.:50:

I am sure if Tamas does join your fall will soon be forgotten and like most of us you will soon be on cloud 9.

I really like the look of this guy as a player, not too sure about his personality but for that I guess we will have to rely on Lawwell and Co, to get it right.

It looks like a case of the best deal for Celtic will be the eventual signing. From the way it has been reported over the piece it seems Tamas was the first choice CB, so if it happens then at least we can be assured that he was a top target.

Was he or was Basa 's price £7.5 million the reason we went for Tamas (By the way i'd be delighted with either one)

The first name to hit the press was Tamas, then a few days later Bassa along with another player (name escapes me) was linked.

Your right Bassa was quoted at 7.5 mil and when talks with Tamas seemed to stall, all of a sudden Bassa´s price dropped. Not to sure if that price drop contributed to the Tamas deal being stalled.

However reading between the lines it looks to me that the best deal for Celtic will be the guy who eventually signs. It is probable that we have been negotiating with 3 or 4 players for the CB position, it looks to me we are playing one of against the other.

I think that is the way we do most of our transfer deals, I also think that may be why it takes so long for us to get our targets.

Totally agree just going by the le mans chairman who said they'd agreed price but Basa knocked us back (seemingly because of Hamburg interest) then out of nowhere Tamas is back in the frame

I agree KD it would be a good way to negotiate, the only downside to it though is when you eventualy sign someone, is he necessarily the best option. I mean was he the first, second, or third choice, I guess only Lawwell and maybe WGS would no that for sure.

    No bother Hammy.:50:

I think tomorrow will be the day.

I dont think The huns can repair there team. cause when they lose next week in Lithunaia then they will have no european football at all. Even QOS will still be in europe.

See if they don qualify does that mean we get their share of the TV money?

I think it does. Its a set amount per country If im right.
