Any idea what's happening with Rogic? He back in training yet?

Is he fully fit or what? Feels like he hasn't played for years.

Actually liked the look of this lad, but I don't think he suits Deila's system at all.

Aye I just can't imagine him being able to press the opposition. He looks like running is an absolute effort.

Shame he hasn't cut it and probably never will. I can see a few players leaving in the summer now. I wonder how many we'll bring in. Despite us seemingly losing our two best CB's next season, I can see us becoming a better team through other positions.

Two new wing-backs perhaps? One as a mainstay to challenge Lustig if Matthews goes and another for Izzy's cover. I don't feel Mulgrew and Ambrose is the CB partnership to succeed in Europe.

We obviously need a new striker as well if Guidetti doesn't sign on the dotted line.

Should have been loaned to an SPFL side during his time here, surely.

Keano Based on the results we previously have had loaning out players without injuries , do you really think there would be any benefit lending Rogic out who is still recovering from injury and not even ready for our development squad .

I think he has talent, probably not cut out for this style but he seems to have an eye for a pass and ability on the ball.

Disappointed we haven't seen more of him during his time here, injuries haven't helped.

Ulsterscot , I said "during his time here" , or did you not read that part .

When he was loaned back to Australia , we should have lent him to a SPFL side instead , to get him used to this style of football .

I agree, a loan spell at a decent SPFL team would have at least gave him the opportunity to acclimatize to Scottish football whilst getting good amount of game time. Seems to be one of the players that we don't get to see very much of at all and just have to trust the management that he is * in training/reserve team matches.

There's light at the end of the injury tunnel for promising young Socceroo Tom Rogic as he's set to resume full training in the next fortnight. Rogic has had a terrible injury run the last 12 months, with a groin problem ruling him out of last year's World Cup in Brazil. The Canberra product ended up needing surgery, forcing him to also miss the Socceroos' Asian Cup campaign in Australia last month. But the midfielder is getting close to a return to full training for Scottish Premier League club Celtic. "Had a minor setback during the latter stages of my rehab, sorted now and hopefully return to full training within two weeks," Rogic texted from Scotland.

    That was 14th Feb.

    He's been injured for ages.

    Back in training soon.

Hope all players we have kick on with a career and do very well, but some seem to stall, stumble and not make the cut. Rogic looks like one of them.

Though, the little I did see of him, I liked his style. Think he would develop well playing behind the striker like Johansen. But how he is ever going to oust him is anyones guess.

We didn't have much choice in the matter , his agent , himself and the football authorities in Australia all wanted him loaned to Australia , to continue his development with the idea of playing for Australia in the World Cup . It would have been a bit cold hearted for Celtic to interfere with his dreams , particularly when loaning players to other Scottish clubs hasn't exactly resulted in many returning to Celtic and have meaniful careers with Celtic afterwards .
