I feel bad for him & I agree he should have had more game time but he obviously hasn't made enough of an impression to merit a starting place yet. The blame can't be laid entirely at Celtic's door. I still think he'll come good. A loan in January would keep everyone happy.

I think he does need to play better when he gets a chance on the field as well, he's never really grabbed it.

Give him to Dundee United for 6 months in return for first dibs on Gauld. He'd fit in well at United.

I agree with this too mate.
But I know what the lad is capable of and it's frustrating when he doesn't show it when he comes on for us.

A loan move will be the end of him at Celtic I'm afraid.
But will get him to the World Cup at least.

Not sure, maybe a loan to a team like Hibs, a good six months under his belt and a good world cup and heading back to us rejuvinated. Wouldn't mind seeing it.

Aye loaning him out would probably be good for him. I think the way that the team was setup yesterday, he'd fit that style quite well. It depends who we get in the transfer window, but for the next few games, hopefully Lenny can bring him on off the bench and see if we can get some consistency from him

Dont know, Balde and Rogic are deserving atleast some sub appereances, but instead of that he brings Pukki and Boerrigter on...

As it stands right now I wouldn't be bothered if Rogic left, wouldn't be a huge miss. Maybe should put him out on loan first and see how he does.

Should definitely be loaned out for the remainder of the season. No point in being here at the moment, especially if he wants to make the WC

I'd rather he was sent out for the rest of the season and maybe even next aswell somewhere he can be a big player and then take it from there..

Don't like writing players off but the signs aren't good at the minute, has talent but hasn't adapted to the pace of our game at all..

Thought after some decent personal performances in pre season he might have kicked on but he's done the opposite..

Hopefully this guy and Nir Biton are both heading to some club on loan or permanent in January. I don't know why they were signed.

Tom Rogic wants to bounce back at Celtic

Emerging Socceroo Tom Rogic wants to bounce back from injury and prove his worth at Celtic despite being urged to move from the Scottish powerhouse. The future of Rogic, and incumbent Socceroos captain Lucas Neill, are hot topics as FIFA’s January transfer window prepares to open. The 21-year-old Rogic has battled for game time at Celtic, playing just 14 games – nine of them as a substitute.

The influential midfielder, a key plank in the Socceroos’ rebuild under new coach Ange Postecoglou, has been encouraged to seek greater opportunities elsewhere. Postecoglou has openly supported a move by Rogic to Japan, where he could reunite with his former boss at the Central Coast Mariners, Graham Arnold, now coaching J-League club Vegalta Sendai.

Arnold has also publicly said he would love to seek a loan deal for Rogic but Celtic manager Neil Lennon has indicated he won’t transfer Rogic, believing the Australian will get sufficient game time when fully fit to satisfy Australia and Postecoglou ahead of the World Cup in Brazil next June. Rogic has only recently recovered from a calf injury and was an un-used substitute in Celtic’s most recent match two days ago.

“I have had a few injuries, which is a bit unfortunate but it’s just part of the game. And it’s how you cope with it and bounce back from it which is important.”

Rogic has suffered a series of niggling injuries in the first six months of Celtic’s campaign but, while not featuring as much as he would have liked, said he had improved as a player.

“It’s definitely helpful as you’re training alongside people every day like Scott Brown and Charlie Mulgrew and I think you can only get better when you are playing alongside good players,” he said.
