Should have told Australia to get to * and had the surgery a month ago, was clear he's not been fit this season he's been a yard slower and wasn't playing very well as he kept being caught on the ball.

 

He wanted to play for his country though.

It’s been obvious since about September hasn’t it? I remember him at the start of the season doing well but I love the guy and can admit he’s been off the boil for months now.

Very infuriating the way we handle injuries to our best players, but hopefully he will recover properly now. Will miss his presence vs Valencia a lot though, even when he’s off his game he scares teams and he makes us tick

We've gambled with the Treble this season by not fixing players at the right time, first part of the season Tierney, Brown and Rogic really shouldn't have been playing and if they never they'd probably all have been fine by now instead 2 are * and Brown only recovered as he got injured and then only had a couple of games before the break.

 

Another position we need to be looking at in the summer.

Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic will be out for up to six weeks after sustaining a knee injury in the Asia Cup.

The Australian missed the Old Firm derby defeat by Rangers in December to play for his country in Dubai.

Manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed the 26-year-old will undergo surgery to correct the issue.

"It is a real blow for us," Rodgers said. "He's seen a knee specialist in London, but we'll be without him for a while."

Rogic played five times for Australia squad during January but missed their quarter-final defeat by United Arab Emirates.

"He came back from the Asia Cup and had an issue with his hand out there and got inured with his knee when he landed awkwardly," Rodgers said.

He went down to London with a member of our medical team yesterday to check that his hand didn't need an operation and, while he was there, we thought we would have his knee looked at and it showed up that a lateral meniscus problem, which is going to put him out for up to six weeks."

Celtic have won four games in a row in Rogic's absence and sit four points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership, but Rodgers was keen to have the midfielder back in the side.

"He won't need the operation on his hand but needs it on his knee," the managers added. "Not what we expected but that's the way football works. It is unfortunate.

"He is a good character. It is disappointing for us. We have missed him for the period of time he has been out, the last month or so."

 

An utter disaster. There isn't a club anywhere with the number of injuries to crucial first 11 players as us.

* criminal these injuries are being found by accident. No hand problem to be there in the first place and he probably plays with the * knee none the wiser

As for these Aussie *'s. Son is arguably the best player to grace the tournament this year and he didn't have to join them until they were in the knockouts where he played 1 game and was back scoring for Spurs the other night!.

We had a player with knee injections. Our biggest domestic game of the season and he couldn't wait a couple of game's in, where even the third best placed team's from 4 qualified? Then he breaks his hand and is playing the next game for 90 minute's with 2 injuries..

Scandalous. Next friendly they have in Azerbaijan or whatever we should tell the pelican chinned fat * to * off and he's carrying a knock..

Always hampered due to having to travel across the world for International duty and also injuries.
Seems it will always be the case with Rogic. Can never seem to enjoy a prolonged period of form/fitness before its back to recovering or finding fitness.
