    Australia midfielder Tom Rogic is a doubt for the Socceroos' second Asian Cup group game against Palestine on Friday due to a hand injury, assistant coach Rene Meulensteen has said.

    Australian media reported that Rogic broke a bone in his hand during the defending champions' shock 1-0 defeat by Jordan in their Group B opener on Sunday but the country's football federation has yet to confirm the extent of the injury.

    "We'll have to get the full scale of what we've got to do with that one ... when he's got the ultimate results of whether he can keep playing or not," Meulensteen said.

    Australian attacking midfielder Tom Rogic looks all clear to play in the Socceroos’ Asian Cup clash with Palestine on Friday.

    While there’s been no official word on Rogic’s availability due to a broken bone in Rogic’s left hand, the 26-year-old completed a full training session in Dubai on Wednesday.

    Rogic suffered the injury in the opening half of last Sunday’s 1-0 defeat to Jordan, and despite wearing a heavy bandage on his hand, appears almost certain to start against the Palestinians.

    Very nervous about the match against Syria tonight. Very tight match last time in the WC qualifiers to knock them out. Hope Tam has a blinder.

    Australia are woefull. Rogic could litterally run the length of the park skinning all 11 players , lay it off to Maclaren and he would still miss.

    Just scored a good goal from 20 yards into near the bottom corner. Had another one ruled out for offside about 20 minutes ago with a nice dribble and run into the box and good finish.
