    Not much has been made of his performance last night because it wasn’t as flashy as usual but he occupied space, filled in as the man to hold up the ball when Eddy was running the wings, kept play boiling over and ran his * balls off for the full 90 minutes.

    Another guy who deserves loads of credit.

    Aye he was pressing like *, seen a few counts complaining about his performance and couldn’t understand wit they were talking aboot.

    Played a different role than he usually does and made good use of his massive sexy body. His fitness is right up there as well now.

    * love the guy, on par wae Lubo for me now.

    Lacked his usual composure at a couple of important moments. Did a power of dirty work that can easily go unnoticed given the overall battling performance of the team.

    There was one point in the second half, around the time he used to be subbed off, where he led the press, won possession and burst through. Amazing the improvement in his physical conditioning.

    Agree. I was more impressed by his work defending than anything else, but his one touch passing and a couple of nice big switches of play also come to mind.

    I think his passing ability makes our attack look so much better; he is surrounded by willing, athletic runners who know if they make the run, there's every chance he'll tee them up.

    I love the final 20 secs of play, you can see Tom surging up the field before taking it to the corner for the final whistle. I thought he was going to have a heart attack.
