    They had him marked today. Worried what he would do to them no doubt.

    Every Time he got the ball they doubled up on him. Wasn't his most influential game for this reason, but it allowed big Ollie extra space to do his stuff......

    I know he’s not the most mobile under normal circumstances but I could tell today there’s something niggling him.

    Didn’t seem to hamper his running right enough as he was bursting past people.

    Love the guy but just hasnt done it at all yet this season. Should be dropped IMO. Maybe he needs a rest, but regardless, we need better from him.

    He’a playing with an injury and needs an injection to play, it’s obvious he should be sent to get it fixed before it causes more issues.

    Not been our usual Tom, still playing some lovely balls about but just not as prominent in the games.

    Unfortunately McGregor has been * poor too so we're not even getting anyone to fill in for Tom's lack of form.

    Maybe Mulumbu should be looked at.

    Big Tom didnt go to the Socceroo camp during the international break, because he has been carrying a knock so was given the time off. Wondering if that is something that he is still dealing with as well. It was an odd choice for him to go for that shot last night with the right peg rather than his left... maybe something to this?

    I opined in the match thread last night that both McG and Rogic both do their best work in the same area of the pitch, and by having both of them in the team neither one of them is able to really being utilized to their full. As admirable as it is to see the work Tom is putting in, having to go deeper or go out wider, but the bottom line is he is not anywhere near as much of a threat from deeper or out wide as he is through the middle and on the edge of the area. So by trying to accomodate them both, neither is really being able to do what we know they are capable of, and perhaps BR should look at for now, just playing one or the other instead of both, and starting with 2 proper wingers, to give the team that extra natural width.
