Still, to be called up for your National team at a young age is a great thing. It will be essential experience for him!

1-1 all between oz and japan. Iraq and Jordan will run all over them.

the oz nt team is *, Rogic is way too good for those clowns.

not hating on them, though they just dont have the quality. If the a-league is anything to go by none of those players are up to NT standards.

in the NSL days however most of the good oz players came from grass roots clubs.

sad how far football quality has deteriorated.

What's so bad about drawing with Japan? They're good.

Aus 4-0 over Jordan tonight. A big get stuffed to all the gimps who thought we would get done.
Rogic came on with about 15 to go and frankly took the * with some of his touches. Also flicked on a header for our last goal.
The kid is class. Hopefully he can show it for Celtic next season.

Good stuff, hopefully he comes good next year and up to speed which takes time, getting a good pre season under his belt should do wonders...
Got a lovely first touch and glide with the ball just needs to up his speed in the spl as its a fast pace and rough and tumble and can pass you by!

Aye he just has to refine his style a wee bit.

I think for us in the SPL hes too slow off the mark and hes not that strong. If he could become a bit quicker and stronger so he is able to get away from players and hold onto the ball and let players bounce off him hed be fine, his touch, vision and passing is up there with the best we've had recently.

He's got enough potential that he made that nike team and beat thousands of other lads that tried out. That's good enough for me.

Hopefully after the summers over n he's had some pre season, he'll start to shine.

He's only 20! Strength on the ball comes with experience.

A boy from my area won the old nike tournament that used to be on the adverts few years back and he only plays semi pro (he's actually a tim aswell and the best player I ever saw that never made it) but I get your point!

I think certain circumstances can affect peoples careers. Like that boy you know, what happened with him? todays media coverage is more effective than it was years ago. And I believe rogics tournament was in england aswell which gives it that extra bit of exposer.

Did the boy from your bit get a good buzz about him when he played in it? He get anyone approach him or anything?

I was at school with scott cuthbert. played with celtics youth team. Played for the 1st team a couple of times I'm sure. I never rated him that much in highscool but Plays in the epl now I think and does really well for himself.

That spin he did was brilliant. Jumped up out of my chair just because of that.:56:

Really hope to see him get more game time for Australia and Celtic. Can't wait to see how he'll get on after a full pre-season at Celtic.

He actually done well for himself anyway does the lighting for bbc, always by Scotland Yard with the lights and big umbrellas when there doing the news...
Just plays for fun for a local side now,but he had trials at man united, west ham,Nottingham forest think was the other but they just never worked out...
He's half Algerian, half Scottish and was a silky attacking midfielder with every skill and trick going but had an end product was absolute class...
Goes to a lot of our games, pity we never scouted him when he was young...
He loved the nike adverts obviously everyone knew and through word of mouth knew it was him that was innit as they didn't show his face just his skills...

Scott cuthbert plays by my local side mate leyton orient, sure he just got a new 2 year contract...used to play at Swindon aswell with a few of our other players Simon ferry,John Paul McGovern and Paul caddis:50:

Yeah it doesn't always mean your gonna be a top player, might even be a hindrance as a lot of expectation is then put on you to be the next big thing...
They've signed aload of players last couple days couldn't tell you any of them...

Is Cuthbert any good? Could he perhaps do a "Mulgrew"? He was always a beast for league 1 and league 2 teams on FM, but I knew nothing about him in real life. Also, I remember reading that Ferry was very good player as a youngster, shame it didn't work out for him.

Back on topic, great to see Rogic doing well, hopefully he will get more game time next season as he certainly have talent, just needs to bulk up a bit.

Aye mate , iwent to school with him, he came up through celtic, was on

N the bench for an old firm (never got used) but I heard he was playing well when he 1st joined them (I was in jail at the time) thought it was a lower team in the EPL. I'm obviously wrong ...

He's a big lad and is the same age as me so he's 26, not long till he peaks in his career. Hopefully he does a Charlie Mulgrew mate. What's he like stat wise in FM?
N aye rogic will be a key player nxt season, lot of other great midfielders on our squad too. Kayal will be * hot next season too (hopefully)

I never go to watch them to be fair, might go to a couple of there games next season though if I'm bored, sure he's there captain and just signed a new contract so must be doing well at that level..
I doubt very much he'll do a mulgrew...
