Anyone judging this kid on a couple of appearances is a clown. Is being played out of position with no solid game-time/preseason behind him.
Give the guy a chance, he will prove his quality from next season going forward, he is 20 years old and has more talent at his feet than half the squad.

He started off well but then faded.

Don't think it's fair to be slagging him too much, the whole team were shocking apart from Tony Watt in my opinion.

We all liked what we seen of him before so for me, yesterday is not something to judge him on.

He needs proper game time and a run of a few games together.

Even the top players would struggle to play on half of the parks in Scotland at some stages of the season. Look at the state in which Pittodrie was in this season, football shouldn't be played on a surface like that, it was like a farmer's field. You won't get the best out of a player that likes to play passes on a park like that, no matter how much talent they have.

I don't think he looked to bad actually.

Looks as though he has a nice eye for a pass, isn't afraid to get in to a challenge and could offer us something in the air with his height.

Young lad needs time to settle - especially as he's only been playing pro fitba for a few year and coming from beach fitba before that.

He's fine, he'll be a decent player for us. maybe more than that.

Think he has a nice touch, and looks quite tidy on the ball. Just needs time to adapt to the pace of Scottish football by the looks of it.

Too right. The guy has full international caps at 20 years old. I don't see how he can be judged to be bad after 6 games.

Agree. In the first game at Fir Park he was scared to go in for tackles and pretty much got bullied by Lasley the whole game. Was looking similar on Sunday but eventually he seemed to say "* it" and went right through someone. Hopefully he'll keep doing it.

I'd like to see him playing alongside McGeouch and Forrest behind a lone striker, with Wanyama and Kayal/Ledley behind them. Think those three would create plenty of chances and torment the defence.

He's looked a good creative player for us in the time he's had. Though I really hope that he's given a licence to go forward when he wants, with someone else covering for him.

Rogic played Atajic in with a perfectly-weighted pass. The in-form striker raced into the box and cooly finished into the far corner.

Considering Lucas Neil is still in the squad, it's not that great of an achievement. :smiley-laughing002:

    Hopefully he performs well, though.

I know people who have witnessed him playing down under disapprove of where he is getting played, but in the long run I think he will benefit from it. Next season is going to be massive for him.

During pre-season I would like to see him played in a more attacking role, I think playing off the striker(s) he could be excellent. As said in one of the above posts those who watched him before he came here seem to think that is where he is most effective. He was also brought here to bring more creativity to the midfield, Lennon said that himself.

I like the look of him already personally. From what I have seen he looks so composed on the ball and close control is great. It's also clear that he has an eye for a pass. Great potential, hope to see him feature alot more next year, it will take him a wee while to really settle in though still. Said that himself in an interview I found :

Australia are absolute *, Scotland done well against them not too long ago. A few years ago they were up there with the likes of Ireland and the USA now they're a good bit worse than Wales and Scotland. Probably barely better than N.Ireland.

Cahill, Bresciano, Schwarzer, Neill and Wilkshire all still in the squad, guys who peaked about 5 years ago.
