Looking forward to seeing this guy in Europe playing just off Sammy and Hooper. :celt_2:

I very much doubt you will see him in europe unless it is as an impact sub.

I'd imagine you'll see him due to our defensive approach. We'll play Hooper up front on his own, Samaras and Forrest on the wings, and someone in the middle pushing forward, with Brown and Wanyama in the centre.

So this young lad, who is pretty much a complete unknown, is just going to walk into the team ahead of Ledley, Kayal and Commons? What makes you so sure? :97:

I think its more likely that we will see sammy on the left but coming in to the middle quite frequently especially to support hooper and win flick ons like he has been doing in our previous games. Most likely commons will play on the right if fit and forrest will come off the bench to trouble juve with his speed late on. Our midfield will probably be wanyama, brown, and mulgrew like it has been for most of our european games. Mulgrew isn't great in the central midfield position but he will most likely be in there due to his ability from set pieces and the fact that hes probably not a good enough left back to play against juve. All that could change if ambrose isn't back in time and mulgrew has to play centerback but even then I think its more likely we go with ledley or kayal for the cenral midfield positions.

Because Ledley and Kayal are usually played in more reserved roles under Neil's management, and Commons has the stamina of a League 2 player.

We'll see how it goes, but I think Rogic may find himself involved at least in some capacity in the two legs, hopefully to good influence.

28? Does that make him twice as good as Johann Cruyff?

    For now

This is a bit soon to make that step up, he is only young and used to playing in 30 degree weather (which should give him good fitness) if he does play it would be an impact sub

    Devlins everyone

I do also think this guy is going to be involved very quickly in the first team. Think the coaching staff see a lot of quality in this guy, and hes been playing regular football up until he joined up with us so will be fit.

Really excited about seeing this boy play in the hoops. The type of player I could watch all day, just oozes class on the ball. Unsure if he will play against Juventus but will be perfect for those games where we have 10 players defending against us in the league.

well... we didnt think Wanyama was gonna get much of look-in so quickly, he was unknown to us too. If he has the quality and transfers it onto the pitch, he'll get more and more playing time.

Hey all from down under. I'm a central coast supporter and a big fan of Tommy rogic
We are really sad to see him go and the kid is a special talent... I think going to celtic is a great move for his career and I expect big things from him

I haven't watched a celtic game since mark viduka played there. From my point of view ill be watching lots of games if he plays.. Will track his progress keenly

Enjoy watching him, he is a joy to watch.. The kids still learning his craft and only became a regular starter last season but his speed of progression has been immense and he didn't look out of place in the national team... He is deceptively quick.. He has a awkward running style and because of his height he looks like he's moving slow but he isn't slow.. And he has great feet but more importantly he has great vision and can three a pinpoint pass to unlock packed defenses... Probably something that'll come in handy against weaker spl teams who park the bus... Good luck with our Tommy and I'm sure there's alot of new celtic fans from Australia and especially the nsw central coast!

    Cheers lads
I actually attended the preseason game in Sydney against your lot.. Truly have amazing fans.. Dream of the day our stadium will have an atmosphere anything like that but not holding my breath lol.. Although West Sydney wanderers do a decent job of active support

Any word on if he is likely to feature in any upcoming league, cup or champions league matches?
