    CELTIC are delighted to announce the signing of Australian Tom Rogic on a four-and-a-half year deal subject to a work permit.

    The Club can confirm an application will be made to the appropriate authorities in the next couple of days.

    The 20-year-old midfielder previously played for Central Coast Mariners in Australia.

    I see this as nothing but a massive coup for the club and it shows the draw we still have despite interest from across Europe, including the Premiership.

    Brilliant news and I am majorly excited to see this guy, I think he is going to be some player for us. Big, powerful, skillful and his game looks mature beyond his 20 years.

    I see what your saying but I really don't see this as a gamble. He may have only been playing professional football for a short period of time but this guy impressed some of the top scouts and coaches from around the world and got through and won a competition with thousands of entrants from around the world. Then goes on to immediately be the star of the team top of the league in his home country at only the age of 20....

    500k....thats an absolute steal!:50:

    We havent had a number 10 player in a long time. I.e. a player that plays just off the striker.
