Was wanting to see Calvin Harris, presuming that won't be shown?

Mumford and Sons are * awesome. Proper musicians, proper music and the crowd love it = perfect festival band. You can't ask for more.

lol! I saw him at Glastonbury in the acoustic tent and I have to say he was good, I mean you can here exactly what he's been listening to (The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, Donovan and yes, Lonnie Donegan :icon_mrgreen:) but he plays it well and his next album but one might be interesting. By all accounts he didn;t fare so well on the main stage though. Think he's not ready for crowds that size yet tbh. They should let him develop.

They are perfect for a festival. So was Bruce Forsyth.

saw them at rockness last year on mandy and still couldn't get into it. Too samey, weak vocals and not heavy enough for me. I quite like some folk music but I just don't get these guys at all.

Just watching TITP on Sky+ now.

I've never known so many people who can't actually sing their own national anthem. That was a complete and utter shambles.

I really like Mumford and Sons, but something is amiss.

It was the same at Glastonbury.

I argued they were a proper headliner, but I'm not so sure now. With all the instruments I think they are a band you have to see in a proper venue.

They also seem to be lacking the fun they has come across in earlier gigs I've seen.

I sometimes feel sorry for people who like Mumford & Sons. It's "alternative" music for people whose music taste goes as far as the top 40.

    Awful.
Probably a shame to judge but the lead singer comes across as a right * too :smiley-laughing002:

Correct, the best band in the world :50:

Best selling album in the UK and the US, something resembling a tune :52:

    * LOL at having a dig at drunk festival goers for not singing a surprise song in unison :56:

Here comes the music *, feeling sorry for people for liking a band. I've heard it all now.

I appreciate what Mumford and Sons are about, they write their own music, they play their own, quite unique instruments and are a * of a lot different to the usual crap you hear in the charts.

However, I just find their music quite dull and boring, I liked their first song Little Lion man when it first came out because it was quite different and it was a very good song, but the rest has been quite boring.

To be fair, everyone else manages to sing it when dunk. Even if it was a surprise, hardly the most difficult song in the world to recall.
