True, they always have a batch after they announce the line up as well though.

I think Calvin wants to be in Tuts, any act is 10x better when playing in Tuts compared to open air stage.

I disagree with the Calvin Harris point. It is much better that he's in a tent, makes it a crazier atmosphere than if its outside at main stage. Thats why I wish that Chase & Status were in a tent...

The point is they shouldnt be there at all, its meant to be a rock festival.

Chase & Status were absolutely epic last year in King Tuts, seen them again on the main stage this year and the open air takes something away.

Aye but the festival has slowly been changing for a while. It's now a rock/pop/dance fest. Vary it to appease the masses. If people are desperate for a rock fest then go to Download or sonisphere( if it goes on this year).

I know man :( I saw highlights of them last year and it just looked amazing. I still think they were amazing when I saw them on main stage but just couldnt help feel that if they were in a tent it would be that bit more mental.

I have to say I don't enjoy the majority of acts that Geoff Ellis puts on for TITP. I don't let this ruin my weekend though; I just stay in the campsite and get * until something decent is on.

This year I seen the grand total of 4 bands. The Wailers, Stone Roses, Noel Gallagher and Kasabian.

I've been at TITP every year since 2003 - the acts have gradually got more and more pop and dance and less and less rock. I just go and watch the bands I do want to see and don't let the crud bother me.
