doesnt show much him in the youtube video, dont really know much about him but i have a friend in germany who reckons he's not great, that he doesnt have a great cross on him and can be sloppy at times, but if we can get him for nothing theres not much of a risk with him so i suppose it'd be an alrite signing to see how he does

Exclusive: Celtic set £2.5m price tag for January transfer target Szabolcs Huszti

Dec 19 2008 By Craig Swan
CELTIC will have to stump up £2.5million next month to land Szabolcs Huszti as Hannover get tough over the Hungarian's future.
Record Sport revealed yesterday that the 25-year-old is Gordon Strachan's top target as he seeks to strengthen his squad for the second half of the season. And attacking playmaker Huszti has been identified as the ideal replacement for bad Bhoy Aiden McGeady.
The midfielder is out of contract at the end of this campaign and free to talk to clubs in a fortnight but Hannover have no intention of letting him go without a fight.
Huszti has rejected their contract extension but the club are struggling in the Bundesliga and unwilling to let him leave in January as he's still regarded a key member of the squad.
A hefty transfer offer may still tempt Hannover but there is no way he will leave on the cheap and Celtic may not wish to splash out for a player they can land for free next June.
Speaking to Record Sport Hannover sporting director Christian Hostetter said: "He is free to speak to clubs in January but it is our opinion not to sell him in the winter. With our situation, it is impossible for us to let him go to another club at this time."
Huszti has a number of suitors and advisor Vladan Filipovic has confirmed that his client would consider a switch to Glasgow.
Celtic are also watching Bosnian midfielder Semir Stilic. Scout John Park watched the player in action for Lech Poznan in their 1-0 UEFA Cup win at Feyenoord on Wednesday night.
CSKA Sofia's Bulgarian defender Ivan Ivanov has also entered the equation.

all this about him being McGeady's replacement is growing tired already. just because he has had a dissagreement with WGS doesn't mean he is leaving.

in all honesty i see this lad as Naka's replacement. could get him for free in the summer or for a fee now. one things for sure, we must move quickly if we want to land our targets in Jan.

Considering Huszti was suspended by the Hungarian national team for walking out during qualifiers because he thought he might not be the starter anymore should make Strachan wonder if his attitude would be any different.

    Celtic reveal interest in Huszti

Celtic manager Gordon Strachan confirmed the Parkhead club are set to make a bid for Hungarian midfielder Szabolcs Huszti.

The Hoops boss, who captured the signature of Derry City winger Niall McGinn this week, is gearing up for a busy January transfer window and the Hannover player is "on the radar."

He said: "I wanted to keep that one quiet. But you can't keep any secrets in the world we live in.

"We've watched the player a lot in the Bundesliga and official talks will begin when the window opens in January.

"He has been on the radar for a while but I won't know how the player feels about us until I meet him."

On the u-tube vids he was playing out where McGeady plays and i wouldn't say that hes young with lots of potential im sure hes 25-26 and surly hut is peak by now

Semir Stilic on the other hand looks like he will come in for naka and is quite young i think.

I think it was their chaiman that has said he won't be leaving in January, even for a multi-million pound offer from Celtic. And we sure aint gonna break the bank on him.

If we're going to get him it will be in the summer on a bosman.
