Aye, the lack of a captain is just one of a handful of problems we have just now. Like I said, bad times.

 

if u read my op you will see why i made the thread , if given or keane came should a loan player be given captaincy is what i asked

 

its obviously not prestigious lol as they gave it to * macmanus last year =p

 

mcmanus won titles and got last 16 champions league football with being captain so less of the drubbing to big mck please , i would rather he were still here and still captain than what we have at the mo !

Should we appoint a new captain??

After the transfer window is closed and we know what players we have, do you think we should start afresh and appoint a new captain and leader?

After reading about Lennon taking Brown off against Utrecht after an hour because he feared he would be sent off, I was shocked as this is no way our leader should conduct himself, and not just against Utrecht, his discipline in general is shocking anyway. And Ledley apologising to the fans when it should be our captain taking the hits, is rediculous.

I know he has kinda upped his game a bit since we starting playing him alongside Kayal, but we need someone who will take the team by the scruff of the neck when the chips are down...and Brown isn't the man to do that.

Big Danny should be the man. Thoughts??

 

Should we balls. Brown is our captain, im more then happy for it to stay that way so lets give him some backing.

 

I think we sould, Brown has been the captain in 3 of our most embarresing results in memory.

Also it would mean we could finally drop brown if he was not the captain

 

I actually think that Brown has had a decent start to the season. Not great but better than last season anyway.
Big Danny needs to prove he's good enough to be a regular starter before anything else because I'm not convinced.

 

i dont know if it would be a good idea? if it was to happen then i would like to see big maj, i like the way he communicates with all the players even if they dont return the favour. he was first one to run over to maloney when he won that pen and shook everyones hand when murphy scored it.

if it were to happen i reckon lennon would give it to ledley to be honest.

Think Brown will do really well this season.

And i dont like giving the captaincy to someone who has just joined the club.

 

who else would you give it too?? None of the new boys look captain material.
Big Maj looks a bit iffy. Dont know how many times he gets caught under the ball
