    A gem of a boy. I’m not just fan of his playing ability but his personality comes through anytime you see him.

    He’s a proper lad, full of fun but most of all and what sometimes people forget, he’s a human being. We’ve all got chinks in our armor and the wee man is no different - mental health can affect anyone and does.

    I admire his openness about it, it will create more awareness and hopefully motivate others to seek help and not struggle in silence.

    Like others have said, he’s very much adored by the Celtic Family and we all wish him well.

    * bless and Hail Hail.

    Take care of yourself Leigh...it’s the most important thing you can do! and thank you for reminding us that we’re all human and have our battles to fight.

    “For it’s a grand old team to play for”...and one that takes care of its own!

    Nice to see the club looking out for him and hope he gets better soon.
    So many clubs can easily miss this sort of stuff and very brave of Griffiths to admit he needs some help.
    We should all be right behind him as our club is.

    Sad to see but hope the wee man gets through this. Hartson hit the nail on the head, its about leigh the person, not the footballer.

    Very very brave of him, at such a young age. To seek help for this. Far too many people nowadays would rather suffer in silence than speak openly about it. Very proud that him and the club have spoken out and are together in try8ng to make him better. Hope to * he gets the help he needs and gets back to doing what he does best. * bless LG! Hail hail bhoys and ghirls

    goes to show you money doesn't buy you happiness. Glad hes had it in him to chuck football for a while to get the help he needs, it means nothing in the grand scheme but your health and family and happiness mean everything.

    He has overcome a few setbacks in his career, this one will just take a bit more effort but he will be back doing what he does best soon enough :50:
