i would say * off steve bruce

10 mill isnt bad money but firstly we are not gonna bring a player to the spl who is anywhere near mcgeadys ability

i wouldnt trust mogga with 10 mill

the board wouldnt let us spend anywhere near that amount of money on one player

granted, his end product is a bit dodgy, but if mogga can drill this 'attractive football' into the team then he will learn to pass instead of shoot, his dribbling and skill is second to none

...... You're right ! We wouldn't see the 10 mill on the park. mogga would spend it on 2nd rate huns ! McGeady is our last home grown star.....

' We you look at all the deeds that you have done..... '

How about ' go on home tony mowbray go on home....'

I think people see Aiden as too much of a main man for the team because he has been round for a while, but he is only 23 man, really, so much to come from him, especially when he gets more experienced.

need to be looking to the older heads such as maloney for a bit of gile and sense and end product. Too much pressure on Aiden.

I think he is worth more than 10 and from a celtic pov i would be sad to see him go for that. I wonder how he would be in the EPL though- really unproven on that front.

Ah, a made up, quoteless article regarding an inflated Premiership bid for McGeady. How refreshing.

That is the exact opposite of how it works. Touch and dribbling come with obsessive practice but if you do not have the basis there of a good football brain to work with it will never come. That aspect of his game has not improved over the last 5 or 6 years we have been watching him. This is his 4th season as a first pick and he has played among other players with good brains like Naka and Maloney but he has not learned much.

10 million is well above his true value as a great fast dribbler with nothing else of any quality to his game. He is half of a great player and IMO he is likely to stay that way. If I was a scout and watched his whole game carefully over 6 or 7 games and didnt allow myself to be dazzled into just watching the dribbling, the max I would offer is 6 million. Its the same with Artut. Would you look at him over the last couple of years and want to pay 10 million? Again if we are offered anything over 6 million for him we should grab it. He is only a thin shade better than a guy we got for nothing. I think its time for new heros.

Take the money!! Get Keano in!
Then get Pedersen in who is often better than McGeady to replace him!

I think that that is a reasonable offer TBF.

I would'nt mind seeing him leave for that kind of money....

£10M is way over the top. If they are prepared to pay it then I'd say grab it. Mowbray won't be able to spend that money anyway.

10 mill is a lot of money for mcgeady so it would be hard to turn down as i think he will never have a end product if you dont have it by now it,s never gonna happen, i think mathew etherington of stoke is a excellent player and wud cost half that!

Take it before they change their minds because his stock is guaranteed to drop before the summer, by then he'll be a £3m 'take it or leave it' player.

I'd take it & put it towards Kamara, Braffheid & N'Guemo.

Put McCourt on a strict fitness programme to get him up & running for making a 1st team place next season & push McGinn on too.

He's our best player but cash is king.

Pretty much would agree with this.

My patience has grown thin with McGeady as the really top class performances have dried up and we now see that level for a game or two every 3 months.

When he's bad he really detracts from the team, slowing moves down, putting in terrible belated crosses, scuffing shots wide when his good running has opened up space for others...

Once every blue moon he looks a ten million player but over the SPL slog I think he detracts far too much - so something like ten million is a steal for us.
