sunderland have played pig ugly * football for centuries.they arent just an unsuccesful side,if you want see football in its most bland purest form,head to the stadium of shight.they certainly wont dissapoint in that regard,of that im certain.

Why would we play against one of the worst teams to play in the PL in its history? It would be a better test to play a decent German or Spanish team instead. Must be * always being in newcastle's shadow when even they themselves are a * club.

In Europe we have a better win ratio against English clubs than they have against us.
And that's against teams like Man Utd, Notts Forest (When they were a good side), Arsenal, Liverpool, Blackburn Rovers (After they won the league) and of course Leeds when they were one of the best teams in Europe.

I really don't understand why people are getting involved in an inter-forum war of words. Reading this thread and theirs, so petty.

I know a few Sunderland fans down here and they're all sound, to the point where I prefer Sunderland to Newcastle.

I don't doubt that the vast majority of fans that go to any friendly at their ground will do so without incident. Don't like that they make the assumption of 'Celtic = sectarianism' but that's just ignorance on their part.

 

Don't let sense get in the way of a good old fashioned inter-forum war

 

Since i moved to Seaton Delaval i have met both Geordies and mackems and they are alright. It's just the * on their forum casting aspersions against us fun loving Celtic supporters that * me off, hence my rant.
