Well last game i seen involving him with PSV in the CL he was hooked after 55 minutes because he gave the ball away about 3-4 times mate! If he is on our list then i hope he proves me very wrong.

We need a left back. Iain Harte. Get rid of camara,virgo and telfer. Maybe even andy johnston or that tunisan guy as hartson might be goin in the summer.

 

Must confess I'm really disappointed in some of the names that have been mentioned. Melchiot might do a job but I honestly dont think he is worth the risk. As for Melberg, no chance! Would not touch him with a barge pole. He will do nothing to better what we already have at the back. I would take Ian Harte in a second. He is still only 28 (I think!) and is a fit player who can get up and down the line. Also very good at set pieces. If Arsenal want to let Walcott go on loan then I would certainly take him to Parkhead. Shouldn't be guaranteed a game or anything but he would be another option for WGS.

 

i would love to see beasely in the hoops. imagine a midfield where he and maloney are tearing down the flanks.

i've seen him play a fair bit. when he's on his game, which is much of the time, he's one of the most dangerous players on the pitch

was Wilhemson not linked with us a few years ago? the swedish guy? they all sound like they have something 2 offer should b interesting 2 c wat happens.

 

We always get linked with some Champions league opponent - like we did with Wilhelmson when we played Anderlecht. But that rumour has never gone away despite the change of management - mibe still just doing the rounds on all the forums, who knows.
We just have to wait and see, but Brown and Thomson could be great signings if Hibs were willing to be fair, and although it seems unlikely if true Andy Johnson could be a good singing, up here anyway

please dont tell me hartey is comin to glasgow. hes broken my own heart to many times for ireland hes to slow and is well past it. if we keep signing the likes of that then im afraid we will be goin backwards bhoys.ian harte champions league he would get eaten alive

 

Ian Harte played in the Champions League before and got to the semi finals in his first and only season. He did very well.

 

Wilhelmsson would be a good signing but I cant see it happening as we have Maloney & Naka for that position so, he would probably only be third choice!

all these players so called linked to us is absolute rubbish,we will have at the most £6 million to spend on players and i don't see many of them as improving what we have already although kevin hofland and Trabelsi are differnt class,we will only sign players of that quality on free's,please stop trying to link every player you've ever heard of to celtic,so far you have linked

i agree tho....every time a transfer season rolls around (or not even)...there's all sorts of crazy rumors and * flying. take a look back and see the players we have been linked with just in the past year

speculation is fun and all, but at this point, thats all it is

there wont be a major name signing for celtic this summer...GS will manage to find some lesser known but still solid players
