Jon Dahl Tomasson has had enough highs and lows in his career to prepare for anything the game can throw at him.

He quickly got on the goalscoring trail with his first club Heerenveen, making himself a target for Newcastle.

But a lack of pace and strength saw him ill-suited to the Premiership after his move there in 1997 and he was shipped out to Feyenoord.

Heard that myself, unlikely though. One thing for sure, we need to sort out what we are doing with Hartson, Petrov, Lennon and Keane and get replacements in. Celtic seem to have a policy of not signing players until late summer so they don't have to pay the players for doing nothing but this can result in missing out on the best talent.

Can someone shed some light on this player? Considering his age and the numbers, Id like to believe he'd be amazing with the talant surrounding him in the midfield and up front with Zurawski.

With the vet strikers hitting 30ish, it might be time to shell out for another Larsson type younger striker, especially if we get any decent coin for Petrov if he leaves, a guy like Huntelaar from Ajax would be massive.

Ivica Olic is a well renowned player who helped put the huns out the champions league with CSKA a few seasons ago and would cost at least 4 mill at least!

 

Celtic should try and do loan deals with the League of Ireland and FAI leagues for loaning players back and forth.

I know there is one or two or so, but it could be extended more.

 

There is nobody i have seen in the league of Ireland who would be good enough for Celtic! All the players are snapped up at no age by scouts including ourselves.

That Blagoy Georgiev played for Alavés last season and he was simply horrible.
He signed for Red Star Belgrade recently and I still can´t believe it
