    Sol Campbell will NOT be asking for 80k. Why would someone openly past their prime and openly admits to some mental problems ask for the same wage as he got a few years ago at Arsenal? Whos gonna pay that?

    and also because other clubs have been put off by his wage demands of 80k a week, which he sees as a wage cut. I'm liking the mental problem angle though.

    is jiri jarosoik actually that good? the player did not make the euro 2004 or world cup 2006 squads for his country, and only has around 20 caps. he did well to get a move to chelsea but played very little, but did a decent enough job at birmingham. if this is the biggest signing we can get, we are in trouble, although i wish him the best

    How can you base your judgement on International appearances? If Jarosik is disapointing and he has 20 caps...does that mean Thompson and Sutton are pish because you could count their caps with your hand?

    Larsson had played in the semi-final of the WC and had even scored in a third place play-off. Lubo had amassed a huge number of caps for Slovakia and had played for Marseile and other top league clubs in France.

    This thing about them being unproven before they came and compared with the likes of Adam Boyd of Hartlepool yesterday is a myth.

    This isnt a rumour at all rather me speculating but on the BBC rumours page Pablo Sorin has been linked to Portsmouth and Bolton for £2million - sure he's a little bit erratic but considering he's only 30 might mean we'd get a good 3 seasons out him at Left Back :p

    I could see it happening though dunno about Kliuvert. The polish guy seems OK but ive never seen him play, Naysmith/WIlson at fullback must be better than a Wilson/Telfer combo so Im not too bothered about that but really if we get half the player Kluivert was for Ajax then we may be onto a winner :p
