id settle for Villa, Torres or Aguero :50:

nah in all seriousness id like to see Frei or even the chance of Fred from Lyon. little to no chance of that happening tho.

Marcus berg would cost about 10 million and he'll go to a premier league team.

Owen - too injury prone for wages he demands
    Jo - too expensive
donovan - getting on a bit now..and think we need more presence.

I would go for Dean Ashton.....if we think he is over his injury problems.

Kevin Doyle from reading , Benjani from man city ( told hes not needed ) martins from Newcastle Fletcher from Hibs ... i would also take lita on a free ... id like to see some quality brought in so tony can build his own team but i think in terms of money and wages with the greed of some players out there today im afraid we will lose out 8 times out of ten .

i dont think players are greedy....clubs have allowed it to happen and if i was a player i would go for as much as i could too...short career.

Pretty much, its not greed to accept a higher wage. Its like if someone offered you the same job you do now but at another company and they'll double the wages, no contest really. Plus, the SPL is a poor league, players will want to go to England and test themselves against some of the best players the world has to offer.

four leaf clover, just cant get enough.
Villareal still have the rights to Jozy but they wont play him this year either. I think we should try to get him on a loan to buy option. He is so big and strong in a year or two he would dominate the SPL and has the kind of skill to score in the CL. Would also be a massive first American outfield signing for Celtic.

He's an awesome footballer, although not a striker. he's a playmaker. just came back from a very long injury, otherwise he would be playing in the bundesliga now.

I don't think any of these guys are what celtic need/want. We need solid guys who the managers have knowledge of. We can't take wild risks on players....they have to be calculated given our budget.

Lol... Our decisions won't be made on a YouTube video. And there are the infinite examples of players like Boruc, Larsson, and Moravcik that we like to bring up in these situations.

only because you don't know the players doesn't mean other people on this board don't know them either.

Yassine Chikhaoui plays for Zurich (in Switzerland) and I see him week in week out. his talent is massive, he has got everything a modern top footballer needs to have. if he can stay healthy and sort out his "ramadan handicaps" he will have a big future.

So, are you advocating the signings of Kevin Kyle and Billy Mehmet???
