    Benjani would be a fantastic shout although I fear for his wages and injury-proneness..

    The point is, how do you know "who the manager knows"? What do you base this on?

    Most of the players mentioned above have represented their respective countries at full international level.

    I don't know who the manager knows, i never stated i did. What i'm saying is we are more likely to go for players proven and not injury prone like some mentioned.

    fans on here are plucking names out of thin air saying they would be good/excellent, they are the complete player...but are they...based on what?

    To be fair this is an internet forum and the thread is "suggest" a striker.

    The thread is not called "Using your extensive World-wide scouting framework, identify and provide individual scouting reports on feasible and potential Celtic strikers to be signed by the current management regime".

    This thread is just a bit of a laff to throw names around really, it's not as if Lawwells reading is he? It's not as if people are suggesting Ronaldinho or Benzema ;) (or worse, Marquinhos!! FM fans will agree!)

    get van Nistelrooy!!! if blackburn are in for him and the price seems to be reasonable, we should give it a shot. Guess wages would be the issue though. that big horse face would slam them home in the SPL
