Is this an official Mod type warning, or are you one of these Suarez apologists, anyway, I'll leave it, he is what he is.

How can anyone hold that hand ball in the World Cup against him? To be honest I'd be more dissapointed in one of my players if he never done that. Let's not forget Ghana still had the chance to score but the guy bottled it and missed his pen.

It's just me being a compassionate human being, Wrigley. I don't like seeing you make a laughing stock of yourself, which is what you appear to be doing.

You're blatantly biased because you're a Manchester United fan.

Pretty much this. The biting is inexcusable but I can't hold the handball against him. I'd have done the same.

You'd think he drowned kittens in his spare time with the way some of you are going on.

He's a * no doubt about it but some of those reasons given by Wrigley are laughable.

A second yellow for dissent. Handball on the line, cheering a missed penalty by the opposition. Clearly the actions of a madman. :smiley-laughing002:

Diego Costa is a * and has been for the last couple of years.
Why have you not got a thread on him being such a *?

Maybe because he is not or never has been a Liverpool player, i assume.

On what grounds are Barca appealing the Suarez ban
He bit him pure and simple and he did it twice before. I can't see how they can compare the punishment to anything else anyway as nobody else has done it repeatedly surely? Is it possible it could be increased because of this appeal, the whole thing seems crazy :confused1:

I was hoping UEFA would have sanctioned a loan move to us for the CL play-off :54:

Says they are planning to make Monday "Suarez day" and he'll play in a home friendly against FC Leon, the games going to be live on Sky Sports 5.

I agree with the decision of allowing him to train and play friendlies. Along with the upholding his 4 month ban from "actual games".

The best he could expect in the circumstances.

4 month ban I think is way too excessive.

He should have got an 6 match International ban or something. But to be banned from all football for 4 month for a wee bite is mental. He could have stuck the nut on him and missed less games :56:

I thought the banning him from training was mental. I didn't see the justification for that part of the ban.

When you put it that eloquently it does sound harsh based on the World Cup incident alone. Yet I can see why it can be argued that a ban should only stand for International Football.

I'm more viewing it as an accumulation of similar offences rather than as one instance.

Suarez is a magnificent player and he could go some way to gaining more respect by serving the 4 months.
