If the ban isn't lifted, the first match he will be available to is El Clasico, nice debut, something to get his teeth into,

I wouldn't mind if the ban is reduced tbh

I'm looking forward to watching him at Barca

I don't think the ban on club football would have ever stood, lawyers would have a field day with that.

Doesn't matter a * we all know he's going to do it again. I'd put good money on him to bite someone next season.

The ban was ridiculous anyways.... hopefully while in Spain their media won't have a witch hunt everytime Suarez does something wrong.

It clearly does matter, as if he signed for any club other than Barca (or Real) his ban would have been upheld but Barca hold such sway UEFA will do literally anything to appease them.

Yes and before you come out with some comment i'm glad Suarez got sold, he's not the point nor the issue here. Just don't like Barca's blatant cheating, it goes against their own morals and flies in the face of UEFA's supposed righteous attempts to "clean up football".

    Is it UEFA's decision?

Barcelona getting their way as always. They are the ultimate authority-backed team.

I'm just wondering if you'd have been as up in arms had the sentence been reduced with him as a Liverpool player?

Or would you have been bashing them if they'd successfully petitioned to have the ban reduced?

He's a nutter, no doubt but the ban was absolutely excessive...Players, coaches and even the victim himself expressed as much...Fan muppetry aside, doubtful the ban would be legal within the EU to deny someone the right to work nevermind train or even enter a stadium

And the earlier post was quoting Goal of all things, about as credible as Daily Mail, tribal etc.

However, I do expect CAS to reduce the ban as it was a ludicrous penalty...Moreover, despite having never even been red carded in England, I assume he will ultimately have some sort of controversy going forward...Like Balotelli, nutters rarely course correct..But I am not concerned about him becoming a biting hazard like most of the planet

Franco wehh wehhh Royal Madrid wehhh

It's 2014, Franco's dead, Barcelona are the authority (UEFAs) favourite, and are given everything. Times change. Barcelona are the establishment team now.

Don't get it, people like you, crying that the ban was excessive and ludicrous, he has bit, fellow players, on three separate occasions, try doing that anywhere than a football pitch and you're getting locked up for 4 months,
As for not been concerned about not doing it again, listening to all the medical experts, there is nothing more certain than him doing it again, he shouldn't be allowed to play football until he has undergone treatment and medically cured. Do we have to wait until someone's ear or nose or worse is bitten off before he is banned for life

Ok then, what should his punishment be, given that it was his third attack of this nature,
