    Never mind 2 years ago.

Take what he done last season, amazing, take that out of the team and its going to be next to impossible to replace.

Liverpool need suarez and need rid of gerrard.

    anyways

    Suarez needs his head checked.

He scored 7 more goals last season than two years ago. Are you telling me 7 goals are the difference from going from 7th to 2nd. Sturridge, sterling and coutinho were massively key last year.

The difference last year, was not having any midweek games, you will revert to type this season, it will also be the reason why United will win it

Sterling only came into it in the ladt few months.

Sturridge had a great season as him and Suarez clicked.

Lose Suarez and yous are *.

Suarez scored 30% of their goals last season, even after missing games - they will miss that.

Mid-week games will * them aswell. The fact they have bought Lallana and whatever his name is from Southampton would concern me. That isnt enough quality to win a league or do damage in the CL.

Suarez is the only real WC guy in their squad.

He's probably the best player in England and the 4th best player in the world at the moment. You're right that you're not a one man team, but if you don't think you'll miss that, you're crackers. It's that extra bit of quality from players like Suarez that makes the difference at the very top. Don't you think you'd have won the league last year if not for his ban?

Don't you think that if he doesn't learn from overly harsh punishments, it's time to try something new? Carpeting him every time isn't working because he just feels badly treated (with some justification, I might add); a proportionate punishment of 4 or 5 games that doesn't give him an opportunity to feel like the victim, along with some sort of psychological help would be much better IMO. Give him a 4 or 5 match ban and he is currently thinking about how he * up his own and Uruguay's WC through a moment of utter stupidity, he can reflect on that and might learn; give him this frankly rather nasty punishment, on the other hand, and he goes home feeling picked on and unfairly treated (I repeat, not without justification!). He's thinking about the unfair treatment he has received, rather than his own wrong actions.

Lot's of things happen on the football pitch happen that shouldn't be allowed to happen, the important thing is to punish them appropriately (which includes any punishment not being disproportionate). Giving Suarez that ban is akin to giving a shoplifter a sentence normally reserved for murderers.

    No, it isn't. :smiley-laughing002:

Biting someone is a big deal, pal. I do it in the pub and I'm up for serious assault.Who knows what else after the third time. Boo hoo, he's missing some games of football.

The sad thing is, he'll more than likely still be getting paid his £200,000 a week regardless of playing football or not.

Maybe docking his wages would get through to him.

Suarez is someone who does whatever it takes just to win a football match, I think he'll be more than bothered at missing four months football regardless of what he's earning.

That may be true, but why should he get paid when he's banned?

I'm pretty sure the players unions in FIFA or whatever, would have a lot to say about denying someone their wages for 4 months.

Should all banned players not get paid while their banned?

I don't see why they should to be honest. If I bit someone at work I'm not too sure I'd get suspended with full pay.

Not really comparable though, football is a fantasy land compare to real life work. There would be enormous issues for FIFA to deal with if they do something like that. Perhaps fine him like 2 weeks wages would be accepted but there's not a chance they'd be allowed to deny him his wages for 4 months. FIFPro are already annoyed that he's not allowed to train at all.

And people call scousers delusional. If you think your jumping 7 places with the defence and centre mids you have then your massively delusional.

He will be massively missed but I just think for others to say we'd be mid table without him is a bit disrespectful to the young talented players we have. Also if Suarez does leave there will be a replacement of high quality.
