Him and McGregor should stay in the team for now, good energy about them, both tidy footballers, they can both beat players and they have good movement. Rogic can sit in the stands until he signs a new contract.

He was excellent on Saturday and carried right on from there tonight. I said it all of last season, he's a centre midfielder and he's got what it takes to be a * good one at that.

He's played better but I still far prefer Rogic, far more class about him.

He's not a winger or wide midfielder whatever you want to call it, simple as that. That tonight is his best position.

For what it is worth I think Scott Allan has done well in the games so far too, just hard to envisage him breaking in.

For now though McGregor is my first name in that midfield. Tidy, keeps possession well and will give you something up the park.

I think all we need is someone to sit in the middle who is a class above. Brown isn't that for me and Biton has annoyed me with his performances for a while. Not forgetting Johansen too. Christ we have so many of them..and Henderson.:56:

Given time I'd rather Ajer was played further up the park..he could very well be the guy I am talking about.

Really? I thought our second midfield failed to get the ball forward despite Leicester losing Mahrez and Co. The number of times we passed the ball right back to the keeper or along our back line was ridiculous. I like the Brown, McGregor and Armstrong combo. Although Allan did look decent when he came on, more appearances like that and I could start to see what others do.

Thought he was dreadful. Use of the ball poor, touch poor and seemed to be shown up as out of his depth a bit..

Was no conviction in anything he did..

Looking out of depth for me today, not sure he's good enough.

I really never want to see him play for Celtic again. Gutless, unfit and * useless.

Yeah, he's * gutless. I think he has the potential to be a very good player but his lack of bottle lets him down.

Had a better second half but for me, his performances aren't warranting a starting role. When Bitton came on he was much more efficient and tidy. I'd rather him or Allan on over Armstrong.

Is there any aspect to his game that he excels at, even anything in the slightest?

Even the much maligned Efetobore has aspects, like his pace, that can be considered a good trait.

Defended him a lot since he arrived- starting to worry now tbh.

No worse than McGregor, but I think McGregor is absolutely atrocious. Time is running out for Armstrong tbh, he needs to show it ASAP or he's done.

That word again, conviction. Has none when he shites it and loses most 50/50's, no conviction in his play or striking of a ball and his corners are still dreadful..

He's looked hungrier under Brendan but Bitton showed both him and McGregor up badly today. They were dreadful..

He has ability but he's very timid. My worry about him is that he doesn't seem to be a player that can be relied upon when we're up against it. He's fine when we have plenty of the ball and are on top of teams but that is very rarely the case in Europe. Needs to improve or he won't make it here.
