He's clever enough out on the left. If we can get him into a central position, we will see a lot more from him.

I have no doubts that he will progress beyond what is already a fine footballer.

 

Agree, I would love to see him through the centre as he's got more to offer there IMO.

What I mean by how far he can go is that I don't think in 2 years time we will be talking about how long we can keep him in the same way we do with Biton.

He will likely serve us until we have no use for him, which is fine, he's a tidy wee player.

 

Inter at home might have been a wee bit better. :icon_mrgreen:

Probably, that's around the time he nailed down a place in Lenny's side and looked amazing until his injury with Israel.

 

Still not seen the best of him as he's a better CAM than wide player but Ronny wont put him in there before Stefan..

 

It's funny though. Even though he looked amazing back then. His performances these days are of a much higher standard. He's taking his game to a new level

 

I know mate, it's the defensive side of his game being worked on has turned him into something else. He was a luxury, now he's a neccesity.

 

There's something about him that makes me thing he'll maybe not get the credit he deserves. He just goes about his business without fuss or bluster. Easy to see how he might go unnoticed with big characters like broony and stefan in there. Just a very quiet, efficient player. Its was the same for me with him number-sake, Lambert, I never appreciated his input at first, took me a while to really see how much he added to the team.

Armstrong is an interesting one. Looks like he has a lot between he ears, very keen to see him develop into the main architect in the Celtic midfield.

 

If this boy gets anywhere near the ability Lambert had I think we will all be shocked. Lambert was a class above most at his time, a fairer comparison in styles would be Biton.

he is so direct at times with good pace. Unlucky with that shot as well.
