    * news for him and Scotland. We've went from McGregor, McGinn and McTominey starting with Gilmour, Ferguson and Armstrong as good like for like back ups to just Gilmour and McLean as back ups in the space of a week.

    * sake, our Euro squad taking a hammering. Ferguson and Armstrong are two guys that while not first choice, from the bench gives us good options. Hickey and Patterson out, outwith a very slim chance of recovery. Robertsons probably out as well.

Tierney’s back for the moment but on the bench last two games, don’t know if that’s fitness or just can’t rely on him so keeping another guy infront of him because can’t be relied upon to keep fit…

    Bad timing man

Papers this morning saying Armstrong might not be as bad as feared so here's hoping.

At least there’s that. Armstrong in the last 18 months or so has been a cracking sub for Scotland. Before then he was disappointing and nowhere near what you’d expect from him. Think he came on and scored or set up a goal, played a blinder, can’t remember who against but since then anytime he’s appeared he’s made a difference

We’ve done that since Ange, Br’s followed suit.

And whilst I agree our opponents not knowing, wish they’d tell just me, so I know

Just a personal opinion but I never felt like he really loved Celtic at all and I didn’t miss him when he left. Wouldn’t really be too keen to get him back but also wouldn’t be totally against it. Would be good backup to have and he’s homegrown for Europe.

A good enough player at league level but that last season after the contract extension he wasn’t interested at all, 32 now as well.

Think he would be a great addition and squad player for us, especially on a free. As long as we brought in bernardo and another younger energetic cm as well.

Seria A beckons apparently. I agree that he never really loved playing for us. Always got the impression he's one of those players that isn't particularly interested in football but just happens to be good at it.

I've probably said before I find the team that Ange built alot more likeable than the one BR had first time round

He's nowhere near the answer but would much much rather have him over another Asian project. It's not even a close

I've always liked him and think he is a better player than given credit for.

I do agree that he doesn't come across as a footballer that loves the game. I've picked up the impression that his law studies mean more to him than football.

Underrated when he was here. Thought he was underused too over his time. Didn't complain and got on with the job.

Would certainly have him back if his injury situation isn't too bad. Having another experienced pros in the team, similar to Mooy, would help us.

I reckon Bernardo will turn in performances like Armstrong did fir us at his best next season. Don't really see the need to brig him back tbh.
