He could chip in with the odd goal , but if Sinclair is on it this season along with Edouard,Griffiths and Dembele thats a potential of 80 goals out they four.

    And replace Roberts with someone.

Best of luck to him, brilliant in Rodgers first season then struggled after the whole contract extension thing, he’ll rip up the championship if he plays a similar role.

Will miss his song most of all :54:

think that means christie getting another chance with us for the next season, i like the boy hope he can turn his celtic career around, has the talent

good luck to stretch hes good when he wants to be, poor last season for us, good money for him and another wage saved, not good in europe which is what we want from our players in all honesty as that is the pinacle

I'll miss him, great player. But 7 mil for a player who wants to leave and has 1 year left on his contract you can't complain.
Hopefully there is a sell on clause in there too

I like him as a Celtic player but if he sees his future elsewhere the I wish him every success in his career.

As echoed on here, 7m for a player in his last year is a great piece of business.

    Best of luck Stuart :shamrock:

Happy with the reported £7 million. McGregor, Ntcham and Rogic would be my first choice and that amount is not something we should be turning down to keep as back up.

Thought I read somewhere that there was a clause that if Southampton avoided relegation than we would net 10 million total on this.

£7m for a backup player with only 12 months on his deal is outstanding business.

Looked out of his depth in Europe and gave the ball away far too often, will be interesting to see if he can hold down a starting place in the EPL. Good player in the SPL but definitely replaceable. It was clearly always his plan to leave Celtic at the first decent opportunity, he would have left last season if a good offer had come in. Thanks for a good second half of the invincible season, * off now.

Good, shifting on a player who hasn't wanted to be here for at least a year for a reported £7m is * outstanding - there's yer Edouard money paid back already.

Even more cash to splash this summer, please * use it on defence Brendan.

Oh, and anyone else who doesn't want to be here, speak up now so we can get ya to *!

£7million for a reasonable player who didn't even want to be here is a great bit of business.

    Good sale.
Step down in club but increase in wage and opportunity.
    Good luck to him.

European football won’t be a problem again at Southampton.
